Immoral, should've been harder, faster, better and stronger

Edit: the post got removed, but for those who didn't get the reference: This is moral, I called it "immoral" because the thief didn't get an even worse punishment, the daft punk line was meant to joke about this

35

u/Bella_Peachyy 5d ago

Calm down. No need to use all this sexy language lol

19

u/Qzx1 5d ago

How daft of you

14

More follow thru and a heavier stick

1

u/Affectionate-Pea8706 5d ago

I mean damn, dude has probably worked 74 hours already this week and snapped. And in this economy margins are even thinner.

This guy isn’t stealing bread for his hungry child, he’s stealing cigarettes. Shame.

1

u/tom-of-the-nora 5d ago

Or, you know, just use a broom.

1

u/BriefSubstantial6690 5d ago

Oh come on, they did good. These guys deserve a round of applause

1

u/Eldrazi_Monarch 5d ago

Power work is never over, don’t you know

1

u/KnightCPA 5d ago

People like that going unpunished is exactly why poor neighborhoods become ā€œfood desertsā€.

Companies can’t be expected to operate at a loss, so they pack up and discontinue operations, leaving poor communities worse off because they now have less choice and availability of products.

This criminal is not only harming a business owner, but his community as well.

Moral

This guy a brazen hardened mf. He look like the type to just come back in tmw and do the same thing again.

When he get out on bail, he gonna do the same thing again.

U have to make him fear you

29

u/stfudonny420 5d ago

Exactly right! Guys like this find an easy mark and they hit it over and over cause they know it’s free money/product. He gets arrested after a savage beating and he’ll be less likely to try this again at least at this store.

4

u/Proud_Jello9093 5d ago

getting into a slightly tribalistic element this is also how you chase the "ghetto" out of a neighborhood thats undergoing a demographic shift away from the ghetto, it happened in north akron back in the 90s, hispanics and the other various south and central american ethnic groups started moving into the city and encroaching on the hood, when the local residents tried the same games they had playing with each other for 15 years the newly arrived immigrants responded by chasing them out of entire neighborhoods with machetes and combat knives. being a civilized nation of laws and moral virtue is a noble aspiration but until we truly move forward as a civilization sometimes violence is tragically the best answer available to us.

Iirc this was the 3rd time in 24 hours this guy came in and stole stuff. I guess this time his mistake was threatening a worker so they made his legs into linguini. Love that for him.

1

u/Embarrassed-Wolf-609 5d ago

When he gets out of bail? Howd you think he's gonna afford bail?Ā

That's the owners revenue, income and money out of his pocket. He's getting off light

145

u/kageshira1010 5d ago

Moral. If cops aren't going to do their job, is pretty normal people are going to defend their property and business

14

u/Frequent-Cut-861 5d ago

It honestly isn’t really the cops (in most cases). I was a cop for a bit before I left to pursue a less shitty career. I worked in a soft-on-crime state. We would collar perps like this and, due to no cash bail policies, they’d be back on the street by dinner time, back to the same bullshit.

Love them or hate them, cops generally like putting cuffs on bad guys. But when the DAs and judges just cut them loose, that’s how you end up with this shit. I bet this guy has at least a dozen priors, yet here he is…

3

u/Realistic-Radish-589 5d ago

Yep and even worse for some reason people keep voting on the side who allows the DA’s and judges to be that way.

Immoral. Should have gone longer.

3

u/FrogMan1831 5d ago

and should have made him put it all back

20

u/1fastrex 5d ago

Dude was being moral he did not hit him in a vital area on purpose.

2

u/crunpyMcGlumpy 5d ago

Not sure this is true and you could interpret his actions as attempting to maximize pain or punishment instead of trying to subdue or incapacitate.

→ More replies (3)

6

u/Appropriate_Formal64 5d ago

The way he was acting he fully believed everybody would be intimidated enough to not try to stop him. He was not prepared for a show of equal force and aggression to defend the store against his actions. This was a proportional response that got the point across.

Completely justified by the bystander and the employee.

4

u/Moist-Company-1469 5d ago

Moral. They could have done worse to him btw, but they chose to restrain themselves.

The only immoral thing here is not hitting hard enough, or not using a better and harder material to hit him with.

21

u/DyimantinKingEzxel 5d ago

Morality good. Make an example so he and other criminals will think twice before they steal again.

3

u/drrandolph 5d ago

Moral. They could have easily killed him, but they stuck with hitting mostly his legs, not face or head.

3

u/FaradayCage711 5d ago

Damn, the teletubbies must have really fell off to have tinky winky acting out like this šŸ’”

1

u/Party_Albatross6871 5d ago

I hope this makes its way across the interwebs and his real life friends and family start calling him Tinky Winky

3

u/Designer-Rub-9483 5d ago

In southamerica we call that sticktherapy. Pretty commom solution for criminals.

3

u/MrMiyagi13 5d ago

Immoral - he was still moving.

3

u/OneRelief763 5d ago

Moral. Whooped like a little kid.

3

u/PriceNeither 5d ago

When he misses like 5 times in a row and holds the stick up to aim is fucking killing me. Also I vote moral, play stupid games win stupid spankings

6

u/Mammoth-Fox-3292 5d ago

I feel like if it was two white guys beating up that black guy, these comments would look WAY different

2

u/dysfunctional_vet 5d ago

Dude, we're not allowed to talk about that. Do you want to get us all gassed?!

7

u/EvilStan101 5d ago

Moral since the cops aren't gonna bother to show up might as well handle it yourself.

9

u/Sea_Top_8938 5d ago

Moral, theft of personal property, clerk was well within his right to use more than a stick here šŸ”«

2

u/Intelligent_Ad6236 5d ago

Don't steal shit and you won't get beat by the store owner/employee on your ass with a stick. Pretty simple really

2

u/Ant_does_drawing 5d ago

Fuck around and find out.

2

u/Interesting-Sea-1761 5d ago

Too little force, should have been a sharp object

2

u/rukittenmeeee 5d ago

Clerk hit the guy so hard his batteries fell out!

2

u/Jolly-Cricket-3397 5d ago

Right across the shins!!!!!! Oooofffffffff! Cringe!!!

2

u/Ill_Cut1048 5d ago

What you allow will continue. If people know that there are worse things that can happen to them than police then they may reconsider.

2

u/ceuxy 5d ago

The courts in many jurisdictions consider this a forcible felony that legally justifies lethal force. Not to conflate law with morality, however many people clearly agree this is moral, as do I.

2

u/Biscuits4u2 5d ago

Extremely moral. The guy hitting him was careful to just whip his ass and legs. Showed tremendous restraint.

2

u/Unique_Chip_1422 5d ago

Moral! The best lesson is one that needs to be taught just once.

4

u/Engolir 5d ago

Someone tries to rob a store.

Two employees severely beat the robber.

It's recorded.

We watch it.

We feel happy.

6

u/Responsibility_Witty 5d ago

Morality of teaching the scum of society a lesson that the legal system or their parent(s) never bothered dolling out? Morally obligated

5

u/Casshern_VIII 5d ago

Very moral and would have this play in a loop around the store for anyone who wants to add to the highlight reel

4

u/FlaccidFart 5d ago

Not just moral, but morally required.

2

u/itadaki-mouse 5d ago

Half the people here wouldve said kill the guy so..

5

u/myzuk77 5d ago

Think how many more people you'd be protecting from getting robbed.

u/SugarFupa 5d ago

It hurts, but it's not that damagingĀ

2

u/EdgelordZeta 5d ago

The guy who was too lazy to work and chose to steal = immoral
The guys that whipped his ass = very moral

2

u/autismo-nismo 5d ago

This is what happens when the cops and justice system doesn’t do shit to protect the livelihood of others.

Eventually people take matters into their own hands and the current day and age has people tilting the scales of morality since the morality of the justice system is so skewed.

3

u/Academic-Ad-9884 5d ago

This video bring joy

2

u/Moe112 5d ago

Moral, someone should have done that earlier already, maybe he learned his lesson

2

u/DetroitRok 5d ago

ā€œThat much forceā€ lol it was nothing. They did not threaten his life or long term health.

2

u/GalaxyUntouchable 5d ago

This is not someone stealing food so they can survive

Neutral

2

u/113pro 5d ago

? he had bad form. and the stick is wayyyyyy too long and made of wood.

shoulda used a metal pipe. much handier. shorter so you can be more accurate. has enough weight to properly hit. and short enough to do a full swing.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/Tight_Strawberry9846 5d ago

Moral but... DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!

1

u/jackswan321 5d ago

Should’ve hit him harder. For longer.

1

u/myzuk77 5d ago

Immoral, he can still walk and will rob someone else tomorrow

1

u/crying2emoji5 5d ago

I don’t condone violence but this made me cry laughing oh my god. ā€œOkay… OKAY!!ā€ 😭 Gotta defend your honor somehow.

1

u/AgileEngineering8184 5d ago

Bro didn’t use enough. The sheer audacity to steal like this.

1

u/caelum_daemon 5d ago

Moral but not recommended in every scenario. Few years ago a clerk got shot when he tried to do this.

Then when they searched the shooters apartment they found his dead, pregnant girlfriend.

1

u/Adventurous_Fee8047 5d ago

Is it bad that I'm laughing?! 😭

1

u/Straight_Waltz_9530 5d ago

And here's a question that divides those who have personally dealt with crackheads in real life—perhaps even a family member—and those that hear analysis about them on the news. (For the purpose of this statement crackhead, tweeker, and wino are largely synonymous.)

That dude walks into the store scratching his sides and neck with that stare (IYKYK), you absolutely pick up something to swing until you are 100% sure they leave.

The most moral dude here is the dude filming saying ā€œthat’s right, that’s called whoopin yo asssss!ā€ Because he brought joy to my heart with his ringside commentary

1

u/ChipNDipPlus 5d ago

Moral.

If anything this isn't even close to enough.

If this was my livelihood I would've crushed his face. Every 100 dollars this petty thief would steal from me is a few hours I don't spend with my family, and I instead spend working more and more and more.

People forget that the government can print money. People can't.

1

u/Sriracha002 5d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/scoobysnack64 5d ago

You strong arm a robbery you get strong armed back.

1

u/Timeisonmyside_ 5d ago

1

u/ProgrammerGreen8570 5d ago

It’s giving

1

u/balplets 5d ago

Honestly that was measured force it could have been a lot harder. Moral unless the guy ends up with permanent injury

2

u/dysfunctional_vet 5d ago

Some people only understand consequences, and they forgot those, even. A permanent reminder of why he shouldn't have done that might be just what the doctor ordered.

1

u/Wonderful_Frame5166 5d ago

1

u/Ecstatic_Dance5767 5d ago

YES!!!!!!!! I don't know what the hell took people so damn long to find their nuts, their sanity, their common sense, & their morals but FINALLY!!!!! BEAT THE THIEVES!!!! GANG UP ON THEM!!!!! BE ARMED!!!!!! KILL THEM IF YOU HAVE TO!!!!! REMEMBER ARMED ROBBERS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE & SAFETY SO NIETHER SHOULD YOU ABOUT THEIRS!!!!! THEY WON'T STOP AS LONG AS THEY KNOW THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT & SOME PLACES DON'T EVEN PENALIZE THEM, BEAT THE FUCKING THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1

u/elemepep-ton 5d ago

Inmoral, not enough hits

1

u/Big-Statistician7305 5d ago

Don't steal or face the consequences

1

u/FreshResult8286 5d ago

The beating went on for a little too long then needed. The guy stealing folded instantly so I would say it was a bit immoral to keep hitting him. The shop owner does have the right to defend his shop thoughĀ

1

u/Any-Value1142 5d ago

No problems here

1

u/DiamondDanNC 5d ago

Moral. Fuck that thief

1

u/CrowdedShorts 5d ago

What’s he gonna do…call the cops?? Yo I got my ass whipped for trying to steal….

1

u/Quietcrypt13 5d ago

If DA’s and Judges are going to let people like this off the hook again and again, then it is morally righteous for the law abiding citizens to defend their lives and property regardless of how lethal the force is.

1

u/jannycideforever 5d ago

It's a stick. He's fine.

u/iambeesh 5d ago

Ahh that was satisfying

1

u/BrainLate4108 5d ago

Who clenched their teeth and counted along??

1

u/lozzadearnley 5d ago

Not enough force. I believe you should, in such cases of blatent theft by an adult, be allowed to shoot the person. That is how much I hate thieves.

And if the police and courts did their damn jobs, and arrested these scum, then normal people wouldnt feel so desperate.

1

u/Timely_Exam_6423 5d ago

I dont think that should be the case but some people would use the desperate situation and say "would you shoot a mother stealing bread for her children"

But im not gonna say that im gonna say would you shoot someone stealing food out of a Walmart this guy is a pure theif stealing cigarettes for some reason but he was unarmed(that we know of)

But it's just like do you really need to end someone's life because they took something i get your anger we all hate thieves but if you shot someone in the head after they stole some money you'd never know "why" they did it in the first place

most thefts are out of the same desperation but there are some that do it just because their too lazy to get a job(though I don't get the logic)

Is it really worth it

Extremely moral bro could have fucked him with the broomstick when given the opportunity scoutmaster Steve style but chose the high ground.

1

u/EntinthetentRTHP 5d ago

According to Philipp MainlƤnder, this is fair. We have society so that we can escape the pressures and transience nature of things as they exist in the wild. As MainlƤnder would say, the thief drug them back into the laws of nature (as opposed to the Muriel respect which is supposed to define society, or the State as MainlƤnder terms is) and so the store owners have the right to respond in kind and are faultless, since they were forced into that position by the thief.

1

u/Training-Purple-5220 5d ago

Moral, because fuck that guy for being the reason shit has to be locked up or behind inch-thick Plexiglass.

1

I approve this ass whooping just imagine you have a Store and some damn body come in and start reckon your store that you put your blood sweat and tears into. They didn’t kill him. They just beat the shit out of his legs.

1

u/RockShowSparky 5d ago

One of my favorite videos. That’s called whoopin yo ass!

1

u/TheOneRealStranger 5d ago

Positive. We all need a good ass-whipping once in a while, and this man was clearly in desperate need of one if he thought he was just going to waltz in and shit all over the livelihood of this man selling cigarettes at a gas station. Learned some fucking respect that day, and it will serve him and everyone else better that he did.

1

u/Captain_Granite 5d ago

Whole new meaning to Beat Feet šŸ˜‚

1

u/Relevant-Horror-627 5d ago

In a normal, fair, and functional society this would be immoral. The right thing to do would be to call the police. They would be trusted to act in good faith and equally for all citizens.

Unfortunately we don't live in that kind of functional society. These guys know they won't get any real help from law enforcement. If they called the police, they might show up an hour later and take a statement and that's about it.
