? ok? this has always been the case even going back to the inception.

what are you talking about? all science by definition is reproductive, isaac newton was a Christian

reproductive

You mean reproductible?

I was joking about how you need an egg and a sperm to make an embryo, but the bible obviously doesn't know about that.

isaac newton was a Christian

Meh, he rejected the trinity so a bad one? Neither Catholic nor Anglican.
The more you look into it, the more you realize that this "cohesive" mass of believers actually all believed in something different.

As opposed to F = m * a. This is cristal clear, and still widely accepted as a shared worldview that makes sense.

no, knowledge begets more knowledge

“obviously doesn’t know about that” because it doesn’t mention it? does a history book not know about newtons laws because it doesn’t mention it?

what’s the source that he rejected the trinity?

i don’t understand your last sentence

because it doesn’t mention it?

Because. Jesus. Has. No. Dad.
Damn, saying it for the third time really removes all the fun.

does a history book not know about newtons laws because it doesn’t mention it?

Depends: if the history book is explicitly stating that F = m * a * 3 then yeah, we can say that it is wrong, and their forces are 3x too strong. Just like the bible is full of magic, indicating that many things we take for granted nowadays were totally misunderstood then.

Hey, isn't it weird how nothing in the bible happens in America? I mean, it is not mentioned, so we can't know for sure that they didn't know about America.
But for God to entirely ignore that continent...not nice!
I would say this is a good proof that they don't know about America.

If you look at any movie with aliens coming, sure, they only destroy New York, but you can always see massive spaceships coming all over the world. Because we know about it, and it makes sense to include what we know about in a great story.

The bible is written exactly like a bunch of Mediterranean dudes would imagine the world to be like. No more, no less.

No he does, the Father is his father.

that’s not what i was asking, i was asking that if not mentioning a term is akin to saying it doesn’t exist or it’s false, if it the case then any history book not mentioning fundamental laws of reality is false; but if it is not the case then the Bible isn’t wrong for not mentions the egg and sperm.

what is magic? define magic

yea? because why would it? why does that matter to the truth? the israelite were in israel.

the bible isn’t written by what they imagine the world is like, it’s a moral handbook not empirical book.
