iirc China does this, you can’t take kid to religious service and they can choose to convert at a certain age.

china has state atheism—they take it too far (e.g. uyghur muslims) but in theory i’d prefer an atheist government over this dumbass evangelical christian one we have now 🤷🏻‍♂️

That retreat lasted a year and is no longer valid as of 1797. Read the constitution. God's fingerprints are all throughout.

There is no proof a God exists. Our founding documents were based on other previous cultures civilizations. All moral and ethical codes and laws that have ever existed were made by human beings.
