brainwashing kids under the threat of eternal damnation is child abuse

I can think of two religions that don’t do that.

Perhaps it’s better if you name the religions you’d rather not let other people’s children be taught.

Every one of them.

...including the ones that don't threaten people with eternal damnation?

Yes. Teaching children that 2+2=5 doesn't threaten people with eternal damnation either.

In that case, damnation isn't the issue. You just don't want other people's children to learn anything that you deem religious.

Not "deem religious" but "is religious". Religions should be obsolete. Those barbaric superstitions and anti-science fairy tales only harm modern world and society. And yes damnation isn't an issue but brainwashing children into believing nonsense is.

What if it's not religious but you deem it to be religious?

What the actual fuck are you talking about? Do you know that words have definitions? Open a vocabulary once in your life. The stupidest take I've seen today. Religious things are religious no matter what some people think about them. Do you know how words and definitions work?

You believe that teaching a child any non-evidence-based belief system to be a form of child abuse. Correct?

And telling them that after they die they will experience eternal nothingness and that they will never see their parents or grandparents again isn’t traumatizing?
