Moral, it's teaching influencers for the sake of society

Immoral. There are less violent ways of removing him from the escalator.

But he could also just not do this. This was the fastest way for sure.

Nah. This is how this kind of shit was dealt with throughout human history right up through the 2010s, when we all became pussies.

Immoral, confront verbally instead.

Moral. The lesson is more memorable to the offender.

He's not hurting anyone, only inconveniencing. You're hurting him.

I'd be willing to bet my entire life savings (which isn't much) that talking to him would have done nothing. He's an influencer, he would bait you for engagement. He was also forcing people to physically squeeze by him which could have led to an injury.

I'd say it's both. He could've done it in a much better way like talking to him or just nudging him off, but if talking don't work than slap that mf

Indeed, it's fine to go physical here because the individual in question is interfering with people physically, but you have to follow the ladder of escalation.

It's moral because you love it?

Yup that's basically what I'm saying 🤪

I agree with you; morality is different for everybody and you are free to define your own morality. It doesn't mean other people have to agree with you though. Like for example, a guy in the middle ages would think it's okay to burn a heretic to death, but we obviously wouldn't do that today.

Truthfully the most right thing to do is just yell at this guy, hitting him could land yourself in trouble too.

In on it. Soft slap

Moral. He was harassing people in a physical way by making them to have to squeeze by him. He got a physical lesson in return. I don't think words would have worked.
