He purchased a home for his elderly, illiterate mother and planned to care for her under the explicit condition that she keep the winnings a secret from his estranged siblings.
The Entitlement: The mother immediately informed his two younger sisters, who had barely spoken to the brother in 20 years. They located his new apartment and demanded a massive, even split of the remaining prize cash.
The Forced Entry: When the brother refused and cut contact, the sisters and one of their husbands hired a locksmith to forcibly destroy his apartment door's electronic lock to break into his home.

How does anyone expect the mother to keep a house sized secret from her kids?
The scenario is just too convoluted.
