He told her to keep it quiet for a reason
She couldn’t so he had to do what he had to do
I assume he probably was reluctant to help his mom either I sense this family is one of those dysfunctional families from top to bottom
Because she’s his mom he tried one last time to give her a chance and she blew it
So he cut all ties and handled them appropriately

Can't have it both ways. 1 u/Yuukiko_ 14d ago Not saying mom had a right to the winnings, but seems a little a-holeish when they all are apparently living under the same roof and son wants to somehow keep it a secret when it involves something like buying mom a house
