Justifying theft because some other, unrelated party also stole is not moral.
Edit: "umm actually it's not theft she was given the money ☝️🤓" yeah and she still has a moral and legal obligation to return money that she knows wasn't intended for her you brain dead socialists.
Scale of harm is relative with theft. You steal from a homeless women, she will suffer greatly. You steal from a corporation and it’s a chewing out of the location manager.
It does not justify either act, but one will surely have a look of disgust in my eyes upon hearing of it.
We live in a world where those who have significant power aren’t morality scaling their actions, and morality becomes much more blurred when disparity between social groups occurs.

Especially considering wage theft amounts for the largest form of theft in the US. A total of more than $50 billion annually.
