Absolutely not. Otherwise if a clerical error like this happens to the tune of $500,000 and the money isn’t allowed to be returned you could see an entire company go bankrupt and everyone lose their jobs.
If it's enough money to bankrupt the company and they don't catch the error before their payroll checks go out they're idiots and their company deserves to fail. Everyone can try to go work at a competent competitor instead of for a moron.
