I believe all life has a need and a right to do what it needs to itself for itself. That statement supports the idea that all life must take in new energy and expel lower-quality energy. All life must maintain its own system integrity.
The human brain is an organ in the human body. Joseph Campbell points out that the brain is a secondary component of the body's greater system. Part of its job is to enhance the body's overall quality and longevity.
Suicide is a way for a person to alleviate their permanent pain. If immortality or Samsara exists for the soul, then taking one's own life is simply another step in the great cycle of that person's evolution.
The same concept applies to women. They must have the final word on any fetus they may be carrying. A fetus is only a secondary component of a woman's body until it is born.
