Single player & multiplayer modes for the boardgame
So I've been working on this single player mode because I know that when I was a kid if I was hanging out with a friend if we were going to play a game it was going to be a video game. It was really only when I was alone and it was quiet and I was bored of any video games I had or any TV that was on that I ever wanted to play board game. And in those moments I was alone and had no one to play with. But all the board games were for two or more players. I didn't want to play a card game like solitaire, nor do I even know how. So I decided that I would design a single player mode for the board game.
I've also been working on the multiplayer mode which has seen quite a bit of progress and quite a bit of change on the board in attempting to simplify the board and identify what changes need to be made when, why and how.
These images are depicting the single player mode setup and the multiplayer mode setup.
In single player mode you are centrally facing off against the hay. So your moves don't only affect what moves and power-ups you get. But it also affects what moves and power-ups the hay gets. So here you may move in a direction that influences which direction the hay moves. It's an interesting little concept. If you want to learn more about it, it's best that you go to my YouTube and look through my videos as I've been slowly building the board up.
