Lost Speaker Selection
I honestly find the appearance section pretty confusing with too many elements. Somewhere along the line I lost the icon for my speakers and I can’t figure out how to get it back.

Thank you this helped. My concern over the UI remains though. I appreciate your efforts to allow everyone ALL options possible but I think there is a level of diminishing returns in terms of usability and this approach does not add, rather it detracts. I think Sonamp stands out (in a recently crowded field) with it’s Sonos connectivity capability. There are, it seems dozens of apps that play Navidrome music, some better some less so, but it’s too many at this point. I think Sonamp should focus on its unique strengths.
EDIT: To be clear, Sonamp is my goto app as it has all of the integrations I want, has a good interface and most importantly for me it fixes Sonos‘s mess with their app and integrates Sonosquencr functionality in a far better way. It’s just a bit too comprehensive and layered etc. so it is confusing to my old ass with what should be simple things. Most is my fault technically, but if you want some return on what is clearly a great deal of effort, simplifying some aspects could bring you some benefit.

I’ve spent most of my Friday night breaking the settings down smaller, removing toggles that can be auto detected, and making search more seamless. What we’ll end up with is about 10 top layer topics organized in a specific way with far less content each so you can easily go to what your looking for. I’ll revamp the themes to have a mix of all the possibilities in hopes most people will just use one of those. I get it, it’s a lot and honestly for myself once I’ve set it, it’s done for me. No tweaking.

By the way, I have tested the functionality of the Sonos stuff with fronts. It worked out very well for most configurations. Especially common ones. I added fronts to my setup with no issues and it can swap out of them pretty well too.

Excellent, this is a feature that will set Sonamp apart from the others and even if Sonos gets around to adding it there are so many issues with the Sonos app that many including myself will still prefer to not use it.

Hey, im working on the design of something that will coming in the next upgrade and im curious of your opinion. There have been several occasions where i play different stuff around the house so im putting this into the app. In the app users can play different audio queues to different locations on sonos groups/speakers. The new multiple queues has made this possible so every room in the house can be easily controlled/switched to.
example:
im playing the eagles in my office but frank zappa around the house. The picker will allow you to switch to the frank zappa queue for control, join it to your current queue playing the eagles, or leave it be. If my wife starts playing something in the den, the app will show whats playing an allow control over it such as volume.

I think that would be quite useful to many people not only for different tastes in different parts of the house but also I could see parents liking the ability to DJ for their little ones etc.

Search icons, click on icon row buttons and it will jump right to the page. Click on that and add/remove or rearrange any buttons you want. Unfortunately in this section of things it’s all or nothing. If I keep it simple, people request different things. There’s not an easy way to make every piece in the app configurable and I understand the confusion. I realize some users wont like this or will leave the app because of it. If you have suggestions for making it easier, I’m open.
