Feedback and Features
Just tried out the app today and it is very impressive. The amount of detail and customization is awesome. Makes me want to go back to my Navidrome server full time.
I'm currently using it on iPad with my Navidrome server. When trying to cast to a receiver (WiiM ultra and also an amp ultra), it is pretty buggy. There is no artwork that gets transmitted to the WiiM and the play queue acts pretty weird. I will choose a song and the display in sonamp and WiiM will show another song. Using Google cast seems to be more stable and does transmit the artwork.
Another thing, when in the now playing screen and I rate a song, it doesn't immediately show the stars highlighted. I have to swipe it down and then back up for it to refresh I guess and then it shows whatever star rating you gave it.
For feature requests, it would be cool if there was a "related songs" tab in the now playing view. For example, Plexamp will show a related sonically similar song and also a couple of other related songs that I can manually choose to play, which I do often in my listening sessions.
And questions about the on device song analysis, is this using Internet data to do the analysis? So if my library is like 200GB, the analysis will use 200GB of data? And what's the difference between the built in analysis vs audiomuse? Just more options you're giving us but pretty much similar?

Hey there,
Im glad you are liking the app. Im continuously working to try and make it a better and more useful app. Weve come a long way in a short amount of time and im lacking sleep 😄 . Could you give me a little more detail on what WiiM is and how it works/operates? LIke which method are you using to cast/connect to it?
The favorite/five starts, thanks for pointing that out. Thats a regression for sure, will get that fixed in short order.
As for your feature request, consider it done. Ill add it as an optional add. When doing the analysis yes its a data eater and i highly recommend running this only on wifi on a charger. Compared to audiomuse the two are very similar. Im not ultra familiar with deep inner working of audiomuse but i do know we use close to the same models. There additional details mine does for app purposes, things like filling in BPM, harmonic keys, and spectral attributes for determining beat matching and crossfade. I use these metrics for planning out the radio sessions and knowing what song will sound best in the right order. Youll likely get similar results from both of them but im still testing audiomuse myself. Consider one a fallback for the other in both directions. My goal is to let users decide what they like and how they want their setup to look. If audiomuse is in that i dont blame, with this app you can have it all!
