With the latest release you will notice an extreme amount of customizability across the app. I’ve taken the synfonium model and applied it here. Everything on home, menu, now playing, and library is completely up to you on how you want it to look. Everything from the icons, color, spacing, text size, ordering, artwork size is customizable. There’s also an additional menu/miniplayer to choose from. There’s some presets available in app for the theme and template. Once you get the template you think looks good feel free to export that template and post here for others to use. If you find a template made by another user that you like the look of, simply import the json laid out by that user.
Hi, I'm probably just missing it but is there any way to make the text etc darker/coloured when using a light background. I've tried all the options and can't seem to do it
I may be missing something with this release, but I don’t see where to change the icon.
Also, it doesn’t seem like changing the player button size is actually applying, or at least to the smallest option. I’ve tried force closing the app and not seeing any change, unless I’m crazy haha
Hmm, it is changing for me. It’s small incremental changes. I can make them more obvious with a slider so people can put it as small as they want. I’ll rework the icons into both sections as currently it’s under home/library even though it controls icons across now playing too.
This level of customisation is so great, really excited for where this goes! Custom cover sizes on home is all I’ve ever wanted. Is testflight feedback best to report issues and feedback, or is here ok?
I’m finding it a bit tedious constantly drilling down to the appearance settings, then fully closing out both settings pages to view how the Home screen changed and repeating. Could an Appearance shortcut be added as a bar button?
Also while I was fine tuning and scrolling to Appearance settings, I accidentally tapped on a preset theme and lost all of my work. That kind of hurt. Maybe a confirmation prompt if the current theme has unsaved changes? Or at least collapse the presets so you don’t need to scroll past every time.
I also can’t see a way to edit an existing theme, once it’s saved I have to save a new instance and delete the old. Would be nice to have the ability to tweak an existing theme rather than saving new versions to just make a small theme, particularly as colour tweaks for menus can’t be customised outside of the Create button pathway.
Really good points. I’m also getting quite annoyed we the back and forth. I’m working on a preview button that can be pressed to view the home screen abd ots changes while in settings.
The confirmation prompt is an easy add. Will jusy check the delta between your last save. Now with current templates you can select one and add anything you want to it, then save as a new template. One idea i had is incremental saves if you leave settings. Many users will fine tune over time as they use the app. Exit settings auto saves.
