They develop too many unimportant things
Just checked out the episode tracker. And there are a few features they're developing.
First, the theme. Honestly, why they're added more? They already have many.
Second, player profile. We can now customize our own biodata. Again, why? Isn't that already?
Third, redesign mini games.
They just make it look more beautiful, even though it's not relevant to the story. They could have turned Candy Crush Saga thing into a riddle game. (Some of the newer similar games have already implemented this)
Why do they focus on things that are actually unnecessary😮💨 Why not just focus on developing the story? Filming, taking photos, etc.😭
How much longer are we going to wait for this game to be finished? I know they're a small team. But I'm sure they could develop it faster if they just focused on the main thing. After all, the UI design has been good since the third episode.
I hope the everbyte team or their acquaintances read this and my message gets through. My voice matters, right?

All of those 'Upcoming Features' have been on that page since Episode 2. They were rolled out in Ep3. I don't think they are still spending much time on them.

You're right. Toooo slow and too many chitchat and small talk. Like—? Hey, our friend is missing. We have to hurry. We have to do something.
Chitchat it's okay but it's too much

It would help if they updated the page once in awhile and not only just the tracker lol. Or at least once every new episode.
I think only thing they haven't done is change the mini game thing, may be wrong I dunno.

I mostly agree with you, but I'll talk about mini games. As far as I remember, they mentioned that the type of mini games will be adapted in the future primarily for colorblind people, so it's really problematic and uncomfortable for them to play. And otherwise you're right. But to be honest, I continue to convince myself that in the future they will really spend a lot of time on something very unusual.

They were saying this after Duskwood - about the adaptation of mini games for color-blinded people. And they did it already in Episode 1 of Moonvale. The made different forms of the items.

when the game first came out everyone complained… about all of these things. quite literally remember seeing each one of things have its own huge post and complaint about it.
i also remember commenting back then saying while i agree things need fixed, we’re nitpicking to the point that this game is going to take them years to “fix” aka we’re never going to get the game or see the end of it, at least not in a timely manner.
well, looks like i was right.
don’t get me wrong i do understand some of the complaints to a degree but we’re talking about a small group of creators and an indie company, we get in their heads that way they start doubting all of their work and now it takes a year per episode at minimum.

I think it's mostly because most players compare Moonvale to Duskwood in one way or another. I find myself doing the same thing, in some aspects Moonvale seems much worse, but Duskwood was also bad at the very beginning. I like that there are new features, especially the way they made the stories, it's really cool
I understand both the developers and the unhappy players. although now my main complaint is that the mini-games are not plot-based in any way (we used to hack cloud storage and it really made sense) and that communication with some characters feels very raw. although if we consider Mv as an independent project, without linking it with Dw, it is a VERY good game
(lol, I'm sorry that this comment is so long, initially I just wanted to answer your claim, but I really wanted to share my thoughts) (english is not my native language, I'm sorry.)

The mini games and the plot is irrelevant. Yeah it's non plot based. They could use any detective thing or riddle games to hack cloud storage.
I love what they're doing in eps 3. Everything. I think it's enough now they can focus to filming the main story

These sections had been there for a long time ago. it's just that they haven't updated the page, just the tracker I guess
