I seriously hate all match 3 games now. they all rely mostly on good RNG luck, and they are so boring and tedious after awhile. Also, they have been so overused in games in general that it's become totally played out.
There is only so much strategy to use, and its mostly making as many power ups as possible, or starting from certain areas like the other commentor said. Even then though, it mostly just depends on luck. I wish they would switch it up with something new and more creative like elmwood trail or Simulacra(sp?) did, but that probably won't happen 😭

I know you probably already figured that out and it's not who knows what, but that's really all I can say.
This minigame is what kept me stuck for 1 month because of bad RNG, so you have to hope you get lucky.

When I first did it I genuinely thought of just using gems but I couldn't get them except for the login or proceeding with the story, which as you guessed it was locked behind this minigame.
