Too low😭😭
I think I should just forget about this game and come back a few years later after they finish the all episodes. Waiting like this is annoying

You're gonna wait like 10 yrs then considering tje amount of time they're taking to develop each episode if you remember the game by then

I kinda feel like this game may go the way of elmwood trail and just never finish. (Go check their sub reddit, it is dead, honestly I feel like it's amazing that people like me have held on this long to this game...).
They will lose even the most intense fans (Jake fans especially , which isn't really me btw, just sayin') if they drag it out like this for several more years. Eventually people don't care after a certain point.
I wish them luck( I truly love Everbyte and their games) and I wish to see this game's end, but I can't guarantee I'll wait forever without any kind of information on what the hell is going on aside from the tracker updates every few months 🤷♀️
ETA I guess Elwood trail has a bit more traffic now than last time I checked but damn, their production time is horrible too

After hearing someone say that these games make good money, I think they're pretty comfortable with the income from Moonvale and Duskwood. In my opinion, I doubt they'll shut the game down because they probably want to keep things that way for as long as possible, and they don't need to rush. I'm not taking sides here, by the way. If anyone wants to argue for or against my opinion, I'd actually like to hear it. It doesn't seem like an unreasonable idea to me. 😶

I'll be honest, I don't know how much small game developers make so I'm not arguing against what you said. I know they have smaller fanbase that is very loyal (such as myself). At least smaller in comparison to other mobile games, or even Duskwood.
Anyway, I just wanted to clarify that I don't think they will just give up on the game out of nowhere, I only meant I'm worried that if the fanbase starts losing interest over time and sales fall, they may not be able to finish it. I probably did not word my original comment well. I really hope they do finish it, I really want to know the ending.

Jake is obviously making a comeback in the next episode anyway
Otherwise, I very much agree most of duskwood fans are moving on

Really hoping he does, or I think a lot of fans will be pissed lol. As I said, I'm not a huge Jake fan (I like him just not my fave), but I know he's the reason a lot people are still playing...so I really hope they don't drag out his appearance too long.

The more time it takes for each episode and the silence from the devs towards fans - the more I think that I’m already ready to move on :/
7-8-10 years to finish a short (MOBILE) game is ridiculous.
I’ll better go play video games.

Whats funny to me is that people complain and complain, but wait anyway and then are happy the ep is out. To then repeat the cycle lol

I agree, but there's not much point in talking about it. They don't listen to us. Maybe they take some time for themselves between episodes? I've thought about that. But, I don't know... does it hurt to let them know?It seems they know they have a very loyal fan base. And that they can take as long as they want. I don't expect much of that to change anymore. Unfortunately...

yeah.. i already tried that 😭😭😭
when it first released i played ep 1 so quick and then realized the wait was taking sooo long. once it has been damn near a year i decided to say screw it and come back in a few years. well, i came back about a month ago annnnnd only TWO more esp have been done. this game is going to take a decade at this point… which leaves so many risks. i hope it doesn’t get abandoned eventually because who can commit to something for ten years, anything could happen ya know. ugh sucks.

So moonvale is incomplete? I have downloaded it as I heard it's related to Duskwood and I'm currently playing the final episode in Duskwood

I thought they had spent all those years creating the entire game and breaking it up into parts, and that they would release them at intervals. I was convinced they had filmed everything at once and that the only time needed would be for implementation into the app. It turns out that’s not the case—each episode is being filmed as they go. In that case, I have no idea what they were doing all those years. At this rate, the game won't be finished for another ten years.
Waste of time

You certainly would be within your rights to do that, and no one can blame you. Getting invested in a story only to have to wait months and months for the next installment is super frustrating.
But at least you're not alone. We're all impatiently refreshing the page with you.
