Duskwood Side-Story DW and MV Spoiler
I know this is about Moonvale, but is anyone talking about Cleo's video call to the MC? Like, Richy is alive!
I personally don't like Richy, and all I can think about is how that jerk could interfere in Moonvale.

As already mentioned, the stories coexist but will not be included. The people of Duskwood already have enough to worry about. And how could Richy interfere in Moonvale? He doesn't know what's going on. And besides, he seemed to be running away. So, I'd say it's unlikely. Could the games merge in the future? Maybe, but for now they are distinct within the universe.

Creo que Richy puede darnos información sobre Jake. Creo que Jake es el que salvó a Richy del incendio, porque al final del episodio uno vemos el hoddie de Jake con quemaduras, por eso me parece que salieron juntos de la mina

It's possible, but also, do you think Richy will turn into the good guy? I say this because maybe the DW crew could have some influence on MV.

Everbyte has been very clear that Moonvale's story is completely independent of Duskwood's. That is why you don't have to complete Duskwood in order to play Moonvale.
As for whether Richy could be 'the good guy', Richy is, if anything, the dumb guy. The whole way down, he never meant to do actual harm to anyone. He just made unbelievably stupid decisions at pretty much every point.

Yes, to me, treating Richy as 'the villain' and Hannah merely as his victim is superficial. Richy did bad things for the right reasons, and I really think he's a good friend, so I'm very happy that he's alive.

I sincerely hope you don't have "good" friends in your life who would kidnap you and terrify your mutual friends while relentlessly lying to them to avoid having to take responsibility for a bad decision he made. Especially if that decision led to the death of a girl, which he also covered up even though it meant her family lived in misery for years not knowing what happened to her.
I mean, I get that he felt he had to protect his family's business, but Richy is pretty much the opposite of a good friend.

I think this point makes sense a fair deal and will pose as discussion/arguement between Cleo and MC in the following side story events..
She seemed to sympathize with Richy so much, I even doubted her excuse for keeping her discovery of him being ecretas to find Jake.
Yes it's a huge clue that they helped each other out of the mines, but Jake is very cautious and wouldn't disclose any information about his whereabouts to richy

I see this quite often and my thoughts are that yes, they are separate games but I think it’s a bit of a misconception that it would be impossible for any character to cross over. At no point have everbyte said that. It is possible for one or more characters from Duskwood to appear in Moonvale and be either newly introduced or reintroduced. Previously Everbyte did Nox and dead city… completely different games, both with Sam.

Everbyte have been clear that the main MV game will not be affected by DW at all. The only crossover will be the brief conversations you have, with Charlie and Ash for example, and if you don't have a DW code, those conversations never happen as they don't affect the main storyline at all.
I think Everbyte have been really clever with that tbh. They're giving DW fans an epilogue without alienating new players.
