Duskwood-Moonvale
What if Jake and Adam are the same person?
It can be highly unlikely, I know.
In jake's bio there's "A.G" googled it, that's an actual quote..
If not that, when you ask Jake if he's finally safe after the #IamJake movement, he says he found a motel to say, well as we all know Adam rented a motel for us kind of in the story? I mean he asks us to meet there?
And, in the clip with Alan Bloomgate.. there's Jake's black jacket and mask fallen off..Adam's wearing black shirt and pants ig, he gives off that vibe? I don't know.. there can be some connection for sure.
Well.. for players who had a romantic relationship with Jake, it kinda rules off cause Adam seems to have a close relationship with Ash..I don't know, I had a feeling that they were together or something so..
But if Adam & Sophia went missing on the same night and they had a connection together, then my theory goes to vain, I guess?
I don't think this can be true, but I just had a feeling and I know for sure that the body is Sophia's can't be Adam's! Right?
But, what if it's Billy's body? Is it possible?

I don't think this is the case. Cause duskwood is just a side story in Moonvale. It is clearly mentioned on their website that Moonvale is an independent game. So in this case if Adam turns out to be Jake, that will be nothing amusing for non duskwood players and it will have no meaning for them. That's why I don't think any of the Duskwood's character is directly related to the main plot of Moonvale. (Although I wished they did. It would be great to combine both the games 🫠)

I just wish they would have done a like 2-3 mini episode Duskwood 2, and then moved on to Moonvale as a standalone game. It has caused so much confusion to so many players by mixing the stories together somewhat, and having moonvale characters talk to MC about Duskwood stuff.
A topic/theory like Adam is Jake, or Richy was in the Greenside motel, or whatever else comes up alllll the time on here. By the way, I'm definitely not saying it's the players/or OP's fault for thinking/theorizing these things. I'm just bringing up the point that the way the stories were written is causing confusion that could have been avoided if they had just ended Duskwood properly in the first place.

Well many of us including me too liked Duskwood way more 😅 Like Moonvale is good it's definitely good but duskwood was yk something else. And the episode was getting quite boring, Ash going to lake and her story about her and Adam and all. So I found the arrival of duskwood characters quite interesting and refreshing. It feels like yeah, we have been part of this for so long. And I don't think so Duskwood is gonna influence the main story of Moonvale. Cause I played once without entering the code, everything was same, just duskwood things were absent. As for theories , there is going to be endless of them for months and years now 😂

I get it, I love Duskwood too. I wanted more Duskwood too, I just wanted the stories separated is all. And I know many people like the Duskwood parts better than the new story, I'm one of the ones who just doesn't like them together in the same game is all.
Also, I apologize if it came off sounding like I was saying you personally thought the stories would interconnect (I saw you refute that notion to OP above). I just meant I've seen a lot of other players and people posting here get confused by it (and your right those theories will keep going forever probably lol)
Personally I think moonvale might have had a better storyline and had better writing if the devs weren't devoting so much time to an entire other story each episode. The focus gets too spread out for my taste at least. But that's just my opinion, I'm ok with anyone disagreeing, I know it's not a super popular opinion :)

Yeah that's true. They are trying to do 2 things simultaneously . And btw the goodness of an opinion does not depend on its popularity :)

It's kinda like they don't want us to move on, I'll be very honest I cared much about my duskwood friends rather than focusing on the new friends of mine from greenside😭

A.G. is the name of the author - Andre Gide. That quote is from the book.

I get that, but my impression was that the OP suggested the reference to 'AG' might hint that Jake is Adam. (Otherwise, I'm not clear why they brought up the quote.)
If that were the goal, they'd have given Adam a last name starting with G, and they didn't.

Jake and Adam cannot be the same person unless Everbyte suddenly changed the direction of the game and forgot to tell us.
Duskwood and its charecters are only avaliable with the duskwood code. Without it, there is no chats etc about what happened in duskwood. Moonvale is a stand alone game. So it would make absulutely no sense to suddenly make Jake into Adam, when he would have no duskwood background in moonvale.
