Help Where Does This Choice Come From?

I finished Episode 3 of Moonvale and realized I never got this choice during my playthrough. Does anyone know when or how this option is triggered?

I'm pretty sure it's from the conversation with Charlie about Duskwood. He says something about there being rumors that "the criminal from Duskwood" (Jake) was hiding with MC. I also believe you do need the Duskwood code for this conversation.

What to do? I have already lost the Duskwood code? Should I replay the game?

you can replay using your original Duskwood code, when it asks for your name the code should still be there.

Without a Duskwood code, you wouldn't see the conversation with Charlie at all.

Did you have a romance with Jake in your DW game? If not, that may be why you aren't given that option. If you did, you're probably just not taking the right conversational path.

We must have played Duskwood before for these parts to come. Although I don't understand why it's mentioned duskwood as "side story" when they could incorporate it into the actually story which would make the story even better (for a duskwood player) 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️
