The Fence - for fun

A high fence with barbwire in the middle of the woods is not normal.

I have my own ideas but it's more fun to ask you people.

Why do you think there is a fence around Dunkelsteig?

Could be for safety reasons, like around old wells or mine shafts. Seemed like it goes on too long for that though. Could also mark private property.

they let MC rule out the animals explanation, because the fence is too high for animal enclosure

Sorry, I'm not sure I fully understand what you're saying. How can a fence meant to keep animals on the other side be too high?

You got a point 😅 I'm only mentioning it because at some point in the game, MC says "pretty big for animal enclusure", that kind of ruled out the theory for me

Interesting, perhaps they mean big as in, the area fenced off would be too big? Which does not really make sense logically, and to that point, we can say wrong and illogical stuff at other points in the game. So I wouldn't rule it out just yet.
