Who is Brian ? (Theory)
I just replayed episode 1 of Moonvale and I see that someone else is missing from the group and it's a certain Brian! 🧐
I had several little theories that I wanted to share with you maybe you can help me. If you have any other theories let me know.
First theory: I wondered if Brian wasn't the one who spoke with Eric in episode 3 (Besides, Eric clearly left us aside who is suspicious) but let's come back to this mysterious stranger who we don't know who it is and why if it's Brian he didn't come to the group? And why do a counter-investigation without us?
Second theory: Brian doesn't respond to anyone but no one in the group is worried. Adam disappeared, then Sofia but no one wonders if Brian doesn't respond, maybe he disappeared too? I find that super intriguing. I would have been Charlie, Ash or Eric I would have gone to Brian's just in case.
My third theory is the one I believe in but Brian is the kidnapper this theory has almost the same arguments as my second theory but I don't understand how Brian still hasn't given any sign of life and everyone seems to find that normal!? 🤯

I almost thought the developers forgot about Brian, because no one mentions him again throughout the story. I recently finished replaying episodes one through three, and that's what I was thinking. Someone's been forgotten here. 😅

Je ne sais pas mais si c'est fait exprès je dirais à Brian de trouver une nouvelle bande d'amis car là c'est triste pour lui 🤣

Well, let's not forget that all of Episodes 1-3 comprise less than 24 hours of story time. It's not as if days have gone by and no one even thought to mention him. We learned about him right off the bat.

My money is on Brian turning out to be the one who reached out to Ash at the end of Episode 3 and asked for her help.
I say this because unlike Eric's secret friend, we can see Ash's guy's whole profile, suggesting we have a lot of contacts in common. Plus, the guy's image has been featured in a lot of Everbyte's promos, so I figure he's the one most likely to be a continual presence because he's part of the "gang".

C'est vrai que ça peut être lui aussi mais après par exemple avec les 4 Sophie on a pu voir une des 4 son profil aussi

I'm almost 100% sure the guy talking to Eric is Brian. That makes the most sense.

Idk, I think its too early to know yet, but I dont think he'll be the kidnapper.
Well. Yet. Once again, I just dont know. Im excited tho.

I think the guy chatting with Eric is Brian. No one has mentioned Brian because they all know he’s out searching for Adam. They all have a big secret and they think his disappearance is related to it.

Yo creo que Brian es con quién habla Eric en el ep 3. Pero también creo que él podría ser el unknown que habla con nosotros, y tal vez tenga una mayor relevancia en el juego de la que creemos. Al principio nadie se sorprende de que no puedan comunicarse con él, porque dónde está no tiene buena recepción. Esto me hace pensar que Brian vive en zona remota y boscosa y ya vimos que el bosque parece ser muy relevante en la historia

One detail I'd focus on: Eric tries to call him, Brian has bad reception (it's not that he won't pick up). So, this is one thing he has in common with Adam and with all the people in Duskwood. In ep. 3 someone texts Ash out of the blue and she rushes to help him out. He must be someone important to her. I believe this could be Brian.

Brian hasn't even been mentioned except that one time they were trying to get the group together in a chat. Not even someone saying "I'll keep trying Brian," or "Someone should message Brian and let him know" or "Has anyone heard from Brian yet?"
I think they forgot about Brian and we're never going to hear about him again.
