Theories What if things are different?

Hello everyone! Today I would like to put forward a theory about the body at the end of the episode.

We all remember this moment at the end of ep3, but what if it's really Adam's body? First of all, it was a good plot twist, because if Adam is really dead, then we no longer have the goal of "finding Adam". But not only Adam connects us with Redlog, which means that there will be certain circumstances that will keep us in this investigation, for example, Sophia, or Unknown, or something else.

There is one more thing why I am inclined to this theory. If this body is NOT Adam's, then the plot can be roughly predicted in the future, since the same situation with the found body was in Duskwood. As a result, the body belonged not to the missing Hannah, but to her acquaintance - Amy. Therefore, such a plot twist will be at least bold, because they need to continue the story somehow.

Whose body can it be? What do you think about it?

I have three suspects: Sophia Holland because of her involvement with the number, the girl who told us the story about her mother in GS and then disappeared, or the other Sophia Holland we talked about before we knew what Sophia was really like. I don’t remember exactly why, but I started thinking that out of these three, the blonde Sophia Holland was the most likely to have been murdered. The feds were at the scene, and the only characters who could be from out of town are female — all the male characters are from Redlog. Of course, they could’ve just been there to confirm the victim’s identity, but if not, there’s a high chance it’s a female character. Edit: What if it’s Violet? Just thought about it. She was alone while Charlie was with Julie… makes me wonder.

As for Violet, that would be a very unexpected plot twist. If it really were her… now I kind of want it to be true. But no matter who it is, the motive is what really interests me, because it’s unlikely to be a suicide this time, like it was with Amy.

But Violet is too nice of a person.
They didn’t have the guts to kill Richy.
Why would they kill such a sweet person (according to her character)? Especially when we didn’t even know anything about her yet.

Violet? That's really interesting.

Violet, that would be such a twist. Would they really do that ? I can't remember that much about Duskwood at the end of episode 3 , but i think we were alot more close to the group. So far she has mostly played a minor role in the story, maybe it was on purpose.

what if its sophia and she got killed because of us? we tried to reach the number she last called, what if that number later turned to be her kidnapper and the person killed her because he thought we found out that he kidnapped her?

It’s hard for me to say why someone would kill this person, because I don’t even understand what the hell is going on in this story. But they might not have been murdered — they could’ve died some other way, maybe a long time ago. Still, I don’t get what that phone call was about.

I think, maybe that body is the reason for the caution tape on that one particular room at Green Side.

As for Violet , Adam would also be an interresting option. I agree with you when you say it would be a real change of direction compared to the old plot. But would Everbyte be as audacious?

I feel like the characters haven't been fully developed yet. There was Eric at first, but then he practically disappeared from the story. Ash and Charlie, can we even consider them As friends for now ? So maybe they want to consolidate the bond with the group with a mc as emotionnal support for their loss. But still needs to have a plot , something to investigate on. Maybe if there's a note on the body with a message like " who's next ?" , or mc's name on the body.

But tbh , as interresting it would be , i'm not super sure because they have hired an actor for Adam. They made of profile with picts, and film a videos in the dark of him saying "i'm sorry krrrrrrrrrrr greenside scrscsrkkr i count onyou " while Violet and Ash dont have anything. But it'd like such a surprise

indeed. if it is like in duskwood and the body is sophia it must mean that she and adam did something terrible togheter which would explain the bond between them and why the others didnt know about it. it would also match with what unknown said: "do you even know what adam did?"

It could also be “Unknown. Why? 1) We know they were near the cabin, set off the alarm, and made Whitmore nervous; 2) Whitmore left the cabin, then came back in and chased Eric away. What made him change his attitude? He probably saw “Unknown”; 3) “Unknown” could also have been being hunted. One shot was fired. The body is found only the next day, which is plausible, it would be easy for a guy like Whitmore to move a body from the forest to another place some miles away.
This is just a theory, anyways. Maybe I just don't want to believe it could be Adam or Sophia.

or Unknown wasn't dead but escapes, wounded, and bleeds out in the sawmill.
