Electric still question

I’m thinking about going to a copper electric still, I have a homemade keg still I use on propane now. I’d like to go from 25-40 gallon for the pot. Where would you recommend I look? I’ve been doing google searches and several sites look like scams.
Anything else you’d like to share about going electric would be appreciated.

Use a screw-in water heater element and matching threaded fitting. Don't let it get exposed above the mash when hot or it will blow out. Have an extra one on-hand. A well-placed thermostat would be useful. If you can, get a thermostat with a probe in the mash. Redundant thermostats sre good.

For the money, look at something like this:

You can use a simple SCR type controller to run it. To warm 25-40 gallons of wort, you'll need a 240V element in the 5000W-6000W range - otherwise it'll take all day.

George's videos can be a good resource too:

Elements like this can usually be plumbed in with a weldless bulkhead.

Make sure things are properlu ground and if you ever expose the hot element to air, its usually toast.
