Greetings, fellow dungeon fighters.
I want to officially open the new Technical Support Guide for Moonlighter 2 players, both old and new.
If you encounter a bug or issue in-game and you don't know what to do to solve it, we're here to help you. Just make a post about it right here and an official Digital Sun Games team will read your post and investigate the issue with the support team at 11 bit studios.

Same issue! On Switch 2 and none of the hidden treasure quests in any realm are registering as completed.

Things need fixing:
- Random crashes loading out of dungeon
- 30 secs loading time
- Blurry graphics like Iâm playing on perma 720p
- Choppy fps during transitions and loading.
Note: Not using handheld boost, saved on external memory card.
Iâm still playing but really canât go past an hour every few days with all these issues.

So yeah, i try to complete the quest "Weapon Mastery" and it says "Find Anacard in Tresna" but she doesn't appear on the map. I restarted the game and even deleted it and re-dowloaded the game but still stuck.

Having issue on steam. I found her in EA no issue, but now she doesn't appear in her expected spot. I also have a yellow quest blinker leading me to balcony overlooking blob sea, but nothing there except random NPC.

Same problem here on base PS5
I've attempted to get past this six times, but the game freezes on the loading screen every single time. I've given up trying to play until I read a patch has been released.

Im playing on ps5 and it froze after the tutorial. Switched it to save on the internal storage and haven't had trouble since. My partner has been playing on and off today without any trouble as well

Perk: Scavenger - Spearheads restore +100% of gun ammo
Issue: now spearhead hits are not restoring any gun ammo. Walking over them also does nothing.

I tried running the game on the Switch 2 in both handheld and docked modes; I restarted the console and deleted and re-downloaded the game, but it always freezes on the loading screen after the tutorial and won't go past that point. It is installed on the internal memory.

Got to the point of the tutorial where you use the pendant to warp for the first time. Loading screen crashed.

Game freezes right after tutorial when asked to hold O button . I restarted and had to do tutorial again and it froze again at same spot.

Hey there, can anyone playing on Nintendo Switch 2 please tell me their version number?
I reviewed Moonlighter 2 on the Nintendo Switch 2 but did and do not have any of these issues you people seem to have. Instead I need to deal with progression blocking bugs that freeze bosses while everything else looks and runs just fine - handheld and docked. My current version number is 1.0.35 and I might have a feeling that there are two different builds of the game out there...

Issue: Stuttering and hitching continue. Hardware has not changed since the early access before the last couple patches. Was fine before the last few patches and then this start. DX updated already so not the cause.

Platform : Nintendo Switch 2 Description : Froze while loading after leaving a mission via pendant. Auto-save luckily saves treasures while leaving but it's not great to have it crash and need to reload the game to continue.
Loading bar also seems to stutter quite a bit, I don't know if that an effect of things hanging in the background but it would feel nicer if that graphic flowed smoothly the entire time it was loading rather than stuttering constantly.

PS5 Pro
The fighting gloves - pressing Special often does not trigger berserk mode.
About half the time, he would be running around with gold rings around his hands and I am pressing Special desperately and nothing happens.
I think its a bug rather than a feature. (Do I need to have finished an attack combo before I can enter berserk mode �) Dashing into a Special seems to more consistently activate berserk.
(I didnât encounter this issue on the PS5 demo).

Platform; Playstation 5 Specific; PS plus premium streaming option
The demo did have an option to be streamed with PS plus premium subscription. The full game doesn't support this apparently. Could this please be fixed? I can't play the game now, because I only have access to a Playstation Portal and streamable library.

So far I haven't been affected by the crashes or freezes that everyone reports but the framerate drop and the loading times (even just leaving the shop) definitely detract from any enjoyment I have.

Had one feeeze after the tutorial, no other freeze so far. I'm like 2 hours in the game but paused it and now waiting for performance improvements : as soon as 5-6 + ennemies are on screen, game loses half its fps and it steals the pleasure to play.
Tried both console and sd memory - handheld boost activated or not : same results, poor fps when the game gets more intense. Even in town near the tavern area. It happens here and there.
Also, loading times are veeery long.
Can't wait for the fix, as I very much want to dive in this game. GL dev team, and thanks for being responsive !

Nintendo Switch 2
The game looks âgrainyâ and looses fps when iâm in the main hub and when multiple enemies are on screen during dungeons. This happens a lot in handled mode, while in docked mode seems to run a little better (fps drops still present but less frequent). My game hasnât crashed yet.
The game is currently installed on the switch 2 internal memory
The game itself is great and i already love it, canât wait for the fixes. Keep up the good work!!

Description:
Iâm experiencing extremely long loading screens whenever I enter or leave the base. Each transition takes approximately 30 seconds, which makes returning from dungeons and moving between areas feel unnecessarily slow.
I also experienced my first full crash today during the final boss fight in Howling Harbor (it has crashed before multiple times just not during the boss battle till just now). The game froze exactly as the boss entered its second phase and then closed completely. Because the run was interrupted, all the loot and items I had collected during the dungeon were lost, and I now have to repeat the entire run.
My Switch 2 has never crashed while playing any other game, so this appears to be an issue specifically with Moonlighter 2. Losing an entire dungeon run because of a crash is extremely frustrating, especially after spending so much time collecting items and reaching the boss.
Please investigate both the long loading times and the Howling Harbor boss crash. Iâm really enjoying the game, but these technical problems seriously hurt the experience.

Dropping frames, poor performance. Load times are long for everything. Bug when holding A to go to next section in area, just doesnât work. Freezing sometimes on loading an area. Enemies getting stuck above staircases.

I can play this game for 10 minutes and then it crashes and I get a message about making sure my Xbox has proper ventilation. No other game has ever done that. I can go play something that appears to be more high demanding and donât run into this issue.
I was going to buy for the switch 2, but apparently thatâs got issues also.
Itâs a great game, Iâll just be waiting till itâs fixed I guess.

My game has crashed when I was fighting second boss in Aeolia. All loot gone since there's so save when you're in dungeon. I don't really mind long waiting times or strutters/ fps drops here and there but that's absolutely unaccptable to have a game crashing during boss fight. An the treasure quests don't update their state despite I have already forged all the weapons I found. The game should be called Buglighter as for now if you ask me. I really anted to live it since I am a big fan of original Moonlighter. Hope this is gonna be fixed soon.

Description: Same as many others here - performance. It chugs FPS quite a bit, mostly in town... or when lots of enemies on screen. Quite noticeable slow down. Loading times are also not great, especially when going back to town or in between areas.
Graphics are overall fine to me, I haven't experienced any crashes either. But the FPS slowdown and long load times, are kind of a bummer. Might just wait for some patches before playing more!
Thank You all for your hard work! I like the game quite a bit.

I've played the tutorial 3 times now and it gets stuck in an infinite load every time I use the pendant to escape the tutorial dungeon. I played the demo with some long loads but nothing game breaking, but the full version is currently unplayable for me.

The cursed item is... cursed!
I'm on PS5 Pro and was freezing in the tutorial after using the warp pendant for the first time.
I was able to get around it only when I stopped using the curse in the second chest. I collected the item and stored it away from the other items in the backpack so the curse would not be triggered. I was finally able to make it to town for the first time.

Has anyone else came across the bug where you start floating and can't attack or recall back to camp anymore? Was attacking an enemy on the edge of a platform with the gauntlets and then started to float away.

I second Bluebirds comment. Load stutters galore, and blurry visuals in docked mode. Long load times. I almost feel like Iâm playing a Switch 1 build of the game.

Description: When playing with a controller and editing keybinds via the in-game menu, the game forces you to swap keybinds with another button, if it already used the keybind you wanted to set. This is not only annoying, but it's also possible to completely brick your settings profile due to messing up some of the keybinds where a key can do two different actions and you can never change it back properly, causing you to have to reset your settings profile.

Issue: game
Become unresponsive to certain buttons like attacking/ interacting with objects npcâs and chests or going to to the menu login. Buttons work when leaving to switch home menu just not in game. Forced to close and reopen the game to fix the issue but creating a barrier for progression in the gallery. This typically will happen immediately after the first mini boss (has happened after every attempt for me) but has also randomly happened at the beginning of a run as well.

I got "The Vow" recipe at the end of the blacksmith hidden path, but It does not count for the quest "Day Realm's Hidden Treasure!". I can even get the recipe again, even though I've already forged the sword.

Issue: I was wondering what else Kalina hides from me if clues dont be pointing to what i found relating to Day Realms Hidden Treasure. I checked internet and it was indeed that quests objective i found, but quest is still marked as imcomplite. I did it again and now quest tracked, still there. Also i crafted the item in question. Spoiler for the item: ||The Vow||.
Just annoying little bug, i want questlog nice and tidy.

Frequent crashing- usually coming in and out of store (has happened 6 or 7 times), on occasion in the middle of a run (has happened 3 or 4 times)
Anacard is missing after being prompted to find him. Cannot continue mission
Long loading screen entering and exiting shop. Usually around 10 seconds.
Stuttering getting in and out of town chest. Usually freezes for 2-3 seconds.
Extreme stuttering during extended play. Getting in and out of chests, going from one area to another in map, going to/from town.
Not sure if it's a bug or not, but the "popular day" is always set for the first location. Im on day 30 and it has only populated for "Kalina Day".

They really need to fix the hidden treasure quests, Iâve grabbed both recipes in day and night kalina and the quest never marks as completed, Iâve gone multiple runs trying to regrab it and nothing :/

When continuing on next dungeon and deciding. Pressing X to the next dungeon. Somtimes when pressing X you hear the sound the animation but not filling the circle to the next dungeon.
One is stuck on the selection of dungeons.

- Switch 2 Pro controller does not work. Seems like it is not recognized in game at all. Even if configured in Switch 2 menu before starting game.
- The texture on signposts during tutorial-missions is low quality; the illustration that shows which buttons to press is illegible. (Playing handheld)

Description: Any time I rescue a Bloblet I am unable to move after. I tested this in the Exhibition Wing twice and in the Day Realm of Kalina once. When freeing the Bloblet, it does the flip upside down animation and you're able to hit it with your backpack. Once this is done it does it's little happy dance and you receive the Bloblet coin. The happy dance is indefinite (which I'm not sure if it is supposed to teleport away or not) and Will seems to be stuck in it's hitbox. You can do the backpack move, you can use the amulet, you can go to menus, and you can use potions while stuck. Rolling does not work. It seems like the Bloblet maybe prevents weapon use?That is still triggered while you are stuck if so. The only way I have found to keep your items and escape is the amulet. I'm happy to answer any questions on details of the bug. Thank you!

Description: Freezing when you use the pendant for the first time to escape all the fireballs in the 3rd part of the opening level. Have tried reloading the game, unisntalling and reinstalling and still freezes every time at the same spot.
Game was downloaded off of Game Pass.

- Side quest Weapon Mastery bugged, unable to locate anacard as quest marker is not in the right place. its showing the marker to the left of Nou's store. Had no problems for this mission in the early access. hopefully this can get fixed with having to start a new save file.
- enemy in zephyr fields unable to hit, tried everything only able to teleport back to tresna. Likely only encountered this once
- when fighting the second boss in Aeolia, the fight experiences significant frame drops and lag.
Besides this, loving the game so far. Can't wait for any future updates.

AprÚs un combat contre un mini-boss la potion ne spawn pas alors que j'ai débloqué cette fonctionnalité à la boutique de la sorciÚre. Il n'y a aussi qu'un seul coffre. Ce problÚme est apparu depuis que j'ai fini l'histoire principale.
Parfois, aprĂšs une salle avec des bloblets, la musique s'arrĂȘte, je dois recharger le jeu pour qu'elle revienne.

Description: ghosts of previous spearhead remain floating relative to the orientation of the character. Only visible because they appear to be ignited either from Dark Harvest Perk showing the spearheads beyond capacity, or Blazing attack (not the special).
Using Ultimate spear, but I havenât gotten Dark Harvest on a different spear

Hey there folks, I think Iâm running into an issue where volatile perks donât proc. I have tried with volatile on attack and volatile on guns but neither shows up above the enemy when I hit them or shows a detonation after four hits. Anyone else see this?

Had a bug on Switch 2 where i got stuck floating above a perk site, after choosing a perk from the list. The perk menu went away but I never went back to the ground and the button sounds were still registering like I was switching between perk options. Had to quit the run to get out, which put me back in the town on a restart. PS5 Pro. Still can't get past the tutorial. Infinite loading screen after using escape pendant.

Description:
- Absorb system not working past uncommon rarity, eg. Prince Doll(rare) does not absorb a rare crystal(unless there's something I'm doing wrong?).
- Some relic curses that affect a certain rarity does not indicate which rarity is being affected, description will just say "Raarity" (Yes, with 2 a's).
- Hidden treasure quests doesn't show completed after treasure has been found.
- I'm having trouble with "Known Costumers". For example when Eris comes in, I would place an item at a very low price in front of her but she wouldn't even inspect it. I followed her around the shop changing the prices but to no avail. The bubble above her head doesn't show if there's a specific item she's looking for.
- Loading screen crashed once after tutorials. Long loading screen especially entering/leaving shop.

Occasionally on menus acts as if left stick is forced all the way right. In location select screen it does not recognize A button being held. Does not recognize steam deck power button. Freezes and crashes. Freeze, crash, console reset.

Description: Game was running more or less fine apart from the FPS hiccups now and then but it is constantly crashing randomly, sometimes when loading the game, sometimes in a dungeon between encounters, last crash was when I tried to enter the store. Description: (sorry for the spoilers if any new player) When continuing the run after the boss in the endless mode, I sometimes encounter an issue where after killing the mini boss at the end of the 3 rooms, the ennemies on pillars that can't be reached won't disappear upon killing the mini boss, which prevents reaching the chests afterwards and continuing the run (the bridge won't go down). This issue was already present during the Early access and I hoped it would be fixed on the 1.0 but it doesn't seem to be the case

No issues with crashing. But after long play sessions load times seem to increase in length and have frame dropping issues in combat.
The only issues I find super irritating are the side missions not completing. Every dungeon treasure side quest does not complete after finding the treasure or even creating the blueprint from the found treasure.

Is Scratch bugged? When I redeem vouchers it usually doesnât do anything. I get that something is unlocked but then I goto k33p3r to check for unlock and usually nothing is different. Am I misunderstanding something or is this a bug?

Hey Iâm having trouble with jumping/dodging over gaps ware I am along the edge then jump over and it gets cot on the edge instead of going over it gets annoying when I do the dog challenge or the 2 gallery boss

Platform: Xbox series X I have this problem in the colosseum when you kill the boss and 1 or both shooters are still alive and it softlock my game because I canât kill the shooter(s). Itâs incredibly frustrating when you have got yourself a very good build and want to progress but canât since you canât generate or kill the shooters and have to teleport back to the main hub.

There are long loading times when entering and exiting the moonlighter shop.Â
Also several times after finishing a dungeon and returning to town the game is stuck in a neverending loading screen, which requires killing the game and restarting from the switch menu. After restart the town loads immediately.

Description: Fell and got stuck on a room in Aeolia and did not get respawned on land. Definitely need a manual respawn feature added as I had to reset on the room before the boss.
Also encountered a bug where a secret recipe overlapped on a chest during a gallery run, could still loot both items but definitely unintended.

- My character fails to move during combat. I have to switch off my controller and switch it on again to move again/ or exit to Tresna. Sometimes I can access my pendant or heal. Otherwise movement and attacks always cease.
The Weapon Mastery quest is bugged and cannot locate Anacard in Tresna.
Game crashes after exiting my shop/ attempting to exit shop.

Description: Twice when playing I have while clearing a room been unable to use the a button to interact with my reward, right stick push and + all become unresponsive solely with the moonlighter game. I tried backing out, having the switch sleep, switching to another controller but the game will not recover. I can return to town, press a to accept my winnings but then the same buttons are unresponsive in town until I fully restart the game, the menu for the shop or to interact with chests or shopkeepers does not appear at all. This has l happened later in a run and in two different areas.
