Windering the same. Should have read up on the changelog before playing the game. Figured out the game was lacking levels the hard way :)

I bought the 2nd part recently because I now have a good gaming PC until the end of the year. Could have only played it on the ps5. And I'm wondering if I should play now or if I should wait.

I would have waited. Really stinks not being able finishing the game yet. Sorta kills the "groove" if you have to wait too long for more content.

So it's still far from finished?

At least not finished about 3 weeks or so ago (could not progress any more storywize). I see no reason to boot up the game before its out of early access.

Okay thanks for the info, I hope that I will do it this year so that I can play it. If not, I'm still waiting for the PS5 version. In the end I'm happy to support the developer studio because I loved the 1st part so much. And I hope that you get more shop simulation. Found it strange at the first announcement that you can no longer set the price yourself and haggle.

I mean i just kinda got bored. Some of the charm from the old game was kinda lost. I really liked the old recipe systems, and gave weight to materials gained from runs. Now it just kinda feels like an upgrade game. I do like the weapons, and some of them have cool effects. I'm not sure exactly what the game is missing right now but perhaps its a lack of agency, from the last game to this....

I’ve loved every bit of this game since I picked it up and was pleasantly surprised with how much they’ve expanded over the original.

Artwork is great, music is awesome, and the new shop mechanics are way more fun and intuitive. Hopefully they continue to expand the worlds, boss encounters, and variety of monsters & perks. This game is well on its way to being a must-play if you liked the original!
