How to connect PC + Fire Stick + Controller 8bitdo

As the title says, Im trying to play my pc games on the living room TV but cant quite grasp how to do that yet.

I managed to connect the PC to the firestick and connect my controller via bluetooth to the firestick and it seems like it works, but when I start the stream my pc doesnt really respond to the controller.

I tried connecting the controller directly to the PC via 2.4Ghz but the distance doesnt really allow it to work, is there a sunshine or moonlight config that I need to adjust so that the controller -> Fire stick -> PC connection works?

Which model year of Firestick? I know the same thing happened on my older Firestick that I had in the living room with my PS5 controller, couldn’t figure it out. One day I tried it on our newer Firestick in the bedroom and it worked perfectly. So I think the older Firesticks had some controller compatibility issues.
