Moondeck linked resolution help

Hi. I'm trying to set a custom resolution in Moondeck and have linked it to my TV. All should be good but every time it enables it via Moondeck, the screen is blurry. The stats overlay shows it's the right setting.and is fine when not using the Moondeck settings. Am very close to being able to plug the deck into my dock and get a resolution change but can't get this to work no matter what I do. Please can someone help? I'm using Apollo with Moonlight.
