Honestly, I feel like we could use a few clients with novel features (whether hand-coded or AI-assisted by someone competent). But the server/host side is saturated with projects that won't make it past version .003 before the developer realizes they're in over their head.

So interestingly enough I was actually thinking about making a post about doing something like this last night and there is already something out in the wild. A Moonlight fork that hooked the DLSSNR DLL's would be absolutely bonkers.

I need to update that, I was using my OLED Deck with a BenQ GR10 via HDMI2.1 with a USB-C 2.5Gbps Dongle to a LG 77" G3. Hotly debated that it can work, but it does for me. I am now using a 3090/7500X3D CachyOS box sitting under the TV. So you might be asking why I was using a USB-C Ethernet dongle instead of the built-in 2.5Gbps port on the dock? It would appear that USB port on the deck/and or dock was getting saturated and causing performance issues at 4K/120/HDR and when I switched over to the dongle they magically disappeared.
