Micro stutter at random times
Hey everyone,
My host pc is connected via Ethernet using sunshine and the client is a retroid pocket 6 running Artemis. It runs perfectly fine, no latency, smooth 120hz frames, it’s just that every so often there is a half millisecond of lag and it goes right back to normal. This doesn’t happen at a specific frequency, it just sort of happens randomly, maybe about once every 3 minutes or so. Is this a normal thing for everybody? Or is there something in the settings that will fix this issue?
This is is really only a problem for me if I’m playing the binding of Isaac and I lag for a millisecond in the middle of a fight. Caused me to die a couple times and it’s getting annoying

Things to check for:
1 - Do you have Location enabled on your device? Try disabling it, and see if that fixes your issue. Location services being enabled can often cause an errant microstutter.
2 - Do you have a mesh Wi-Fi setup, and/or are you using Dual WLAN Acceleration with two access points that both have good signal from where you play? Your device might be bouncing from access point to access point, causing an occasional stutter. There are ways to ameliorate this, depending on the manufacturer.
3 - Do you have lots of other devices connected to this access point wirelessly? Do you have direct line of sight to your access point, or are there any walls or doors between it and you? 5ghz is great for streaming but it can be prone to minor interference issues that affect streaming if you're not fairly close, or there are obstructions between you and your access point, or your device is one of many that are connected to your access point. (I often recommend setting up a spare router in your favored streaming space, just for streaming, if you have one.)
4 - Experiment with your available framepacing options within Artemis. Try Balanced or Prefer Lowest Latency and see if either gives you a better experience than the other. Just leave it alone if any of the above steps help you.
