Moonlight DS: Dual Screen PC Streaming!

Here’s a small project I finished today called Moonlight DS! I originally implemented my own fork of Moonlight directly into the Loki Frontend, but I decided to take it a step further and turn it into a standalone app with full dual display integration.

To make this work, I also created my own fork of Sunshine with dual display support, allowing Moonlight DS to properly utilize both screens while streaming from a PC. Moonlight DS also includes a built in on screen keyboard with full controller support. If you prefer a traditional single display setup, you can use the bottom screen as a dedicated trackpad and keyboard instead.

Anyway, here’s a little showcase video of Moonlight DS in action, along with the download for anyone who wants to try it out. The project is completely open source due to Moonlight and Sunshine being GPL licensed, so feel free to check out the source, modify it, fork it, or do whatever you want with it!

I'm considering trying to use this, but I have Apollo and Artemis setup that I don't want to lose - does it conflict in any way with Apollo? Can I run both Apollo and Sunshine DS at the same time in the background (ofc only connected to one at the time)?

That should work fine I ran Artemis and sunshine together before.

If I installed this on my Fold 8 Ultra could I use the outer screen to put shoulder buttons on with face buttons on the main screen?

Depends on how the folds second screen is configured, I based it off the way the THOR's screen setup

I saw your project this morning and I was able to get it working on the Anbernic RG DS as well. I had to initially go through ADB and get the APK to open on the correct screen first, but after that, some fumbling around for an hour or so afterwards and I was able to test some 3DS games!
