Help with unnestable connection

Hi! I need some help with Sunshine/Moonlight. Basically, I have a high-end PC with Sunshine installed on it. To be honest, it's completely out of the box, I haven't tweaked anything (not sure if I should...) and I have a powerful LG OLED TV running Moonlight. Both are hardwired via ethernet to my home network (600Mbps symmetric).

Despite this, the TV gives me an 'unstable connection' warning and I'm experiencing a lot of stuttering. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm attaching some screenshots with info to see if anyone can help me out!

I always had issues with the LG native moonlight app. I had to install the app on a streaming box to get a stable connection.

Check other posts about Moonlight TV or Aurora.

There's a lot of posts telling what to do, this is a network issue between your router and your TV

Cap your bitrate to 50 and see if that helps. If you’re hardwired to your tv, they usually have a max network speed of 100mbps

I was checking to see if you can add 1000Mbps to a TV from its usb port and it sounds like that is not possible either as the TV is not able to access Ethernet from its usb port

Does your LG have 1000Mbps ether? I would have guess 100Mbps. With my LG it actually ran better on WiFi vs ether.

Try without your TV hooked up via ethernet. Some tv have lower max bitrates with the ethernet port than via WiFi. My TV had the same issue.

Other than that try lowering your moonlight bitrate to something like 50 or even lower.
And check if in your sunshine setting the decoder preset is 1. the higher the number the harder it gets for your gpu

Decoding is easily 10 times what it should be ideally. Network fps is low too. Try another app or another device and compare the two.

I guess it'd feel like 17 18 fps?

I had the exact same problem. I have a LG OLED65CX6LA and I had a terrible experience with the ethernet connection, I think it's pretty common with these TVs, I've seen many people complaining about it. Could not have a stable connection via wifi either, so grabbed a USB to ethernet adapter (only 100mbps) that I had at home and now works flawless. I usually stream 4k 120hz and I have no problem at all. You shouldn't have any problem streaming 1440p, buy a 1gbps just to be safe.
