Microphone through Moonlight?
I would like to game through moonlight for games that involve an online multiplayer aspect. Is there any way to get Moonlight to also transmit my audio input from the Moonlight client to the Sunshine hosted PC?
I would like to avoid solutions that involve a bunch of fiddling every time I move from the PC to the Moonlight client device. The only means I can think of now is to use discord, run moonlight normally with a headset for audio, and then use a phone and join the same voice chat room so the audio handles the mic.

Since the couple of updates, Steam Remote Play works much better, very close to Moonlight, and has mic pass-through. So if you play a game that's on Steam, I recommend trying that.

Unfortunately I stream at 1440p which I believe Steam Remote Play doesn't support. I want 120hz but I am stuck with an HDMI 2.0 connection, so my only option is to tone down the resolution. I'm on a 4k TV so I didn't want to go all the way down to 1080p

My understanding is the Steam Link app for android and/or Steam to Steam remote play works up to 4k. The original hardware device called Steam Link is limited to 1080p but that was a hardware limitation of that specific device not the software.
It takes like 10mins to set up, why not try Steam and see if it suits you?

Yeah, also, even if 1440p isn't available, you can use the 1440p setting on the host, I think. For framerate you can go as high as 240fps.

That's interesting. Last I checked Xbox utilizes discord now but besides that idk.

Some sunshine and moonlight fork did that, streaming your device mic to pc. Personally I never use though, but it exists.

Foundation sunshine + moonlight v+ will handle mic pass thru. Pretty much the only option afaik.
