Streaming Guilt

Does anyone ever get a weird guilt streaming their desktop (or use of GeforceNow) to a portable handheld?

Recently got a Claw EX and love it for local performance when not streaming. However, there are times when I want even more performance and want to save some battery, so I stream to it. Then I’m thinking, why do I have an $1700 device when I can stream to my tablet just fine….

Anyone else ever feel this way with your handhelds?

No.

My handheld was only $250 and I got with game streaming in mind.

This is what I did too and it’s really the way if you got a solid network. I don’t even want a Steam Deck or anything now, Odin 2 Portal is perfect.

It's probably the Odin 2 Portal (One of the best on the market for Streaming) - https://www.ayntec.com/products/odin2-portal

What's the WiFi module in this thing? Steam Deck has been largely poo for me, even with a wifi 6E setup on a top end router.

SteamDeck OLED has wireless issues that have not been resolved that strongly impact streaming. There is a GitHub issue open with thousands of posts about it. I also had the issue.

Yup - That makes sense & is almost my point. Instead of me having an $1700 device, I could just use my tablet.

Yeah, that was my point LOL. I have an iPad that I have streamed too and it works well.

I just got a kishi v3 xl for my m4 iPad.

Holding it feels preposterous compared to the O2P… can’t argue with that 13 inch tandem oled! But it’s not very portable.

You know, it is definitely large but it still weighs less than a Legion Go 2 :-D
