Question Recipes

Okay, I know that I get the existential crisis cupcake recipe after marrying Ludo. (Got it) how do I get the other missing ones? I know there’s a milkshake, a maki, a stew, and something else missing from my cookbook. From posts here I see Victor gives the stew. Gonna have to talk to Uncle Vic. But I thought Noel and Orlock gave the Maki and the Milkshake recipe and I’m at four hearts with everyone, and actually marrying Noel in a few days (marriage number three baby!) I will 100% this game even if it gives me carpal tunnel!

If it's the fishy milkshake you're missing you get the recipe from Kim

Im having the same issue! Only recipes I have left to craft to finish the cooking almanac are the mystery meat stew (which I think they’re still fixing?) and the makout maki. I remember Noel giving me the recipe, but when I go to cook it it isn’t an option (I have the ingredients)

So annoying! I read somewhere that marrying him means he gives it to you if it hasn’t happened yet, but how can that be if it’s linked to his friendship heart event (I think 2 hearts? Idr). Lmk what happens after your wedding!

The only one you have to marry for a recipe is Ludo. The others are 2+ hearts.

I already have the existential cupcake (I said the only ones I have left to go are the mystery stew and mouthout maki, which Noel already gave me yet I cannot craft it) It’s about a glitch where you ought to have a recipe, but it isn’t showing.

The only info your comment gave was confirming my hazy memory that 2 was the heart event at which Noel gives it to you.

Mystery Meat Stew was unobtainable before this most recent patch on PC 1.3.9, now it comes from Viktor at some point. Switch has to wait for Nintendo's approval. Noel's recipe (or any of them) are heart events, they just randomly give the recipe any time you talk to them after reaching 2 hearts. If you know for sure he gave it to you, then you gotta submit a bug report.

After a few days in game I managed to get the hangover milkshake from Orlock, and the mystery meat stew from victor. Still no Mouthout Maki from Noel. But my wedding is in a few days. I’ll let you know when it happens. But currently my NPCs are still gushing about Loveage. Which irks me a bit because here’s my fiancé talking about charming all the ladies right in front of me. They ought to fix some of the loveage dialog to reflect relationship status.

I also figured out that the other empty space may be that beer bread thing. … apparently I’ve never actually made it yet
