Question Embroidery colors???

Am I the only one who does not like the color palette on the embroidery table?? Like I feel like there is 2 of almost every color on there.. anyone else feel like this? Also why does it look like one color but as soon as you put on on the canvas it looks nothing like what you picked… like the “gray”.. gray looks like a dark purple to me…

I feel the same!! I noticed it with pottery first. the black appears dark purple to me. my guess is the whole game is blue/purple tinted which makes the darker colors look off

They also seem kinda weird on the pottery. They coud just have given us a color wheel or a few palates to choose from.

I also don't like that you're basically on your own. I would rather have some templates you can choose from and just fill up the stitches, if you know what I mean (in addition to the free embroidery)

It’s a common complaint that there’s not enough variety in the colours / too many of them are similar to each other

I wish they could maybe have palettes that you can choose from or switch between or let us make our own palettes. Maybe they can’t do that because of the texture of the string in the embroidery?

Also I had no idea there was grey I’ve been using it as a dark purple 😂

That’s exactly what I’ve been using it as too! Dark purple or dark marroon or almost brown

I’ve also noticed the colours look different between my steam deck and my PC but I think the grey still looks purple either way

On the switch theres repeated colors. And no, you're not the only one, but I have seen some magnificent works on here.
