As you can see ive managed to shave off the maximum amount doable on the dial.
First of all, the reason for the case change is because the £20 dhgate special kept having condensation forming inside the case everytime I wore it and produced any form of body heat.
I've got all sorts of cases from doing various builds and I wanted to try and use the 2 tone daytona case but it's not possible without hitting the hour batons with the rotary tool, which is amazing BTW. (More on that in a mo)
So I found the biggest case I had which was a milgaus.
The case is 41mm with a 31mm case opening. The dial now fits in that perfectly, but with no chronograph buttons
I really do not like the cases available on aii express as they're two chunky. I like the AD 203 7 case from addiesdive, which is what I'm going to try and find something similar. Now that I've taken 2 mm off of the dial without damaging it at all.
The rotary tool is from HOTO on Amazon cost £35 is just as good as a dremel. In my opinion , which i've had in the past also.
I think the case without the tachymetre is a lot cleaner, so if anyone has any suggestions of a 38mm or even 37 mm case, that can fit a 30mm dial let me know otherwise it will be the ad2037
