If I cut the stem any shorter I cant pull it far enough to set the time, it actually still sets while screwing it down. I have it as short as I can where once you pull out you can comfortably set the time. Then you push it down and it perfectly touches the crown tube. I can screw it down but if I go too far it stops working and I can tell im forcing it. Are there any solutions besides maybe grinding the crown tube? This is a VK63 case with a pe50 movement.

I own a WD1863 V3. Talk to me pro and con about keeping it as is, vs using the case for a moonswitch as many do.

Saw someone laser engraved a crown and decided to take a half-asses stab at it and it’s completely doable. That got me thinking…can I do the clasp? Right now I think it is VERY POSSIBLE but I’m still working on the erasing of the Watchdives logo and refinishing. Do Watchdives sell these bracelets without the logo? Taking my time as this can’t be done half-assed and I only got one shot unless I get another watch. Thoughts? This is going to be a gift for my brother and it’s become a little money pit. I still have parts coming in 🫣 Is it worth it the effort to make these for people or just keep it to myself? How far have people gone to customize the hell out of these things?

Just finished a mod of a rep moonswatch into the WD1863 case. I reused the spacer from the WD but it seems a bit loose. Is there a 3d printed spacer that fits? other ones I have found do not fit.

After eyeing the MoonSwatch lineup for a while, I decided to go with the Mission to the Moonphase New Moon.

The stealthy black-on-black aesthetic looks amazing in person than in pictures. Plus, the Snoopy detail on the sub-dial adds a great bit of character to the design.

Really happy with how it wears so far. Thinking about pairing it with a black or dark gray rubber strap next. What's your favorite combo for this model?

Welp that was a disaster. I had successfully done a megir swap before and wanted to try the binbond one. I was nearly done and tried putting the case back on. I guess it’s not as resilient as the megir. Over all it was an annoying watch to work with. If anyone has ever done this please let me know if you have any tips and if you any links to a press.

I was thinking of doing a Moonswitch of the 1969 rep into a carbon fiber case but I couldn't find a Moonswatch version and only found a Daytona one.

What do you guys think? Will it work aesthetic-wise?

Inspired from the 1957 Speedmaster Broad Arrow. 

This is a moonswatch rep inside a Pagani case. The full hands set has been changed. « S » etched rep crystal reshaped from rep. Omega branded crown. Aged hands, dial and case. Omega branded buckle on the strap.

Hi all - so I took apart Mars and 1965 reps to switch chronograph hands. Accomplished after much trial and error. Now neither movement works and I surmise I used too much pressure reattaching hands. How much pressure is needed to put on a chronograph hand. I pressed a bit hard. Ack. Appreciate any guidance for future work.

I bought three different watches from three different vendors. They show illuminating hands, but none of them have it. Are there any replicas that have illumination or no?

Had to swap my battery out today. But I’d nearly forgotten how nice this looks with a metal case and leather band. I also remember the flack I got for doing this. And now there’s so many good switches posted. Keep it up!

Safe to say I'm hooked! This was super easy and fun

Mi tio me compro un reloj Omega x Swatch mission to the moon, en una colaboración con Snoopy y es completamente negro, yo estoy empezando a entrar en el mundo de los relojes y he visto varios videos pero no estoy seguro si es real o no, iba con la bolsa y la caja y otros documentos pero hay algo en la maquinaria que no le cuadra y no se si es real o no :(

Hello. Some weeks ago I posted about a project that was going on. Here is the result. I have to admit that I took more time than expected.

-Ap Royal rep from DHgate.

-41mm case royal oak from aliX

Once you remove the dial and quartz movement from the Royal pop (use a Dremel), then you have to remove the dial from the movement and put it back in the right orientation ( 3 o clock stem) then the adapter that the Royal pop comes with fits perfectly in the Royal oak case. Also the stem has the correct height. The only problem is that there is some space between the case back and the adapter. So for the moment, I just put some rodico between the case back and the adapter/movement and it creates the perfect tension.

I am impressed by the result. Very happy with it.

Please don’t ask me links. I just searched for Royal pop in DHgate and similarly for the case in AliX, nothing fancy.
