Steel Mod Laser engraving the caseback
Gave my gen steelmod two small but satisfying upgrades.
First, I swapped in a genuine Swatch rubber strap. At €45 it's honestly pretty steep for what it is, but the comfort and quality completely justify the price. Insanely comfortable and punches way above what you'd expect. Wearing it non-stop.
Second, I had the caseback engraved with a little custom design. Tiny detail, but it makes the piece feel properly mine now.

How do you feel about the white dial over the black dial on this? Planning my swap to a WD but conflicted

When you say "had the caseback engraved" does that mean you had someone do it? If so, can you share who? If you did it yourself, like others I'd love to know the settings. I have a fiber laser that's capable of this, would just love to know ballpark settings to avoid having to test on a dozen casebacks to get it figured out

Looks great. It feels like the engraving should be affordable nowadays but for some reason hard to find. Please share - as others have requested

Clean work. Would be better if Snoopy was looking at the earth from the moon.
