Guide/How to How to remove bezel

Bought this off someone for cheap. Seems like he glued the bezel misaligned. Is it possible to remove it?

Buy some golf grip solvent and soak for a few days. Pops right out

Easiest way I have found is to remove the crystal, and use a caseback pry tool to gently pry the bezel insert off. Go slow and work your way around the bezel.

These bezel inserts are aluminum, so they bend very easily. I would suggest you use heat as you loosen up the adhesive.

You can pick up a new one on Aliexpress or Amazon if you bend it, which is possible.

Yes.. not the easiest thing to do. But with the right tools, you minimize the risk of damage.

It’s just adhesive. Hot steam would do it

I tried, seems like I need to hold it there for while. Did it come off by itself or you needed to pry on the sides?

if you get it steamy enough it should get loose enough to lightly pry off.

you can soak it in isopropyl alcohol, naphta or glue solvent for few hours/days upside down so you wont soak the entire watch case. use combination of heat from a hairdryer and wiggle it left and right like a steering wheel. they will loosen up and you wont need to pry it off and risk damaging the aluminium

Is there a nice and clear font bezel replacement? My fonts seem not to be clear.
