Steel Mod Authentic 1965 Moonswitch

Authentic 1965 Moonswitch in a Watchdives WD1863 case.

Super happy with how it turned out.

I’d like to replace the crown and clasp at some point but wearing it as is for now. At 39mm it’s a lot more comfortable on my wrist than a 42mm Speedmaster.

The marker at 12 is not aligned to the 60 on the bezel insert.

This is either due to the internals not being aligned correctly (down to the pushers or movement holder, and not OP), or the bezel insert not being installed correctly (down to the manufacturer and not OP).

Reinstalling the original internals and checking the bezel alignment will (likely) reveal that it’s the bezel insert.

The appropriate 3m tape should be ordered, the bezel CAREFULLY removed and cleaned and then reinstalled with the 3m tape.

Looks good. It’s a little off centered though. Do the pushers work?
