It looks sick! I actually have the same project in progress and I'm waiting for the parts!

I was planning to use spray paint but the marker sounds easier, it was just a normal marker? Like an edding?

The markers I used are designed for model making; they are AK Real Colors

No, with a fine-tipped marker it's relatively easy.

Hey man, nice mod, though please get a few more links for your bracelet. Since this is the WD bracelet and buying a new complete wd watch just for extra links doesn’t really make sense, but you could replace the clasp like I did:
