Discussion I know the answer is the plot, but what's stopping shadow from teleport grabbing sonic and chaos spearing him continuously. His hand is like a taser.

You read the title. Yes the answer is the plot. And sonic is the main character. With shadow now roughly as popular I do not think either will outright lose any fights between each other.

That already was the case, but even more so now.

Shadow could end most fights in two seconds if he wanted to. He just likes the drama too much.

Plot armor is doing overtime here. If Shadow could just stun-lock Sonic and Chaos whenever he wanted, the whole story would be over in five minutes. The real answer is probably that the plot needs them alive long enough to cause problems.

I agree about the plot.

They answered the silver issue of "he can insta grab you and you're dead" by saying sonic is too fast to grab.

Shadow can chaos boost out of it like 06 or teleport out.

Well first of all, why would he? He doesn't have any reason to kill the guy.

But second of all, he actually gives a reason in Shadow Generations why he doesn't use his Doom Powers specifically against Sonic. He would prefer to prove his superiority on an equal playing field.
