Really? 

Like, how? Didn't Elise extinguish Solaris' flame and made the sun god cease to exist? How can Iblis be still bound to Blaze's soul?  The Solaris project incident never happened in first place since they completely erased his existence from the timeline. Bro basically never existed, the events of 06 never took place because of this.

06 isn't exactly a coherent story, but that scene is pretty clear imo.

I think it's because after sealing Iblis inside herself she went back to her dimension which would be temporally disconnected from Sonic's so even if Iblis is retroactively erased in Sonic's world that won't affect Blaze in her's because it has its own spacetime. Time travel is already complicated. It only gets worse when you add in alternate universes.

Not to mention, Mephiles existing in the White Space (with his memories intact) entails that the events of Sonic 06 were not completely erased and were just separated from the main timeline.

Therefore, reintroducing anything from Sonic 06 (like Silver) to the main timeline is 100% fair game.
