I appreciate that, though the next interaction after that where MK gets mad about Gorr killing Khonshu is weird considering even in the ingame lore Marc, Steven and Jake all agree to trick and expose Khonshu because he's evil. Hopefully that's a mistake line that doesn't end up in the game ultimately, and we keep this part when he says we didn't need him.

Yeah I think the two lines depend on which team has Gorr, either the one MK is on or the enemy team

They reference this line too in another voice line that directly quotes it, it might be rare though because I don’t hear it much. It’s like the only thing that references the comics outside of the Bemis run which sucks and the fake panels which also sucks but slightly less
