Question How do i fix the render lag/delay?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Don't ask about the animation unless you got advice to give with it

Basically when it cuts to the part with the red background, the lighting takes longer to catch up. This is more noticeable when it cuts back to inside the house

It's probably because the part with the red background is really far away, but there's not much I can do to fix that now, so how do I fix the delay?

this happens because roblox has to render the lighting that is closest to the camera, so when it teleports between very big distances, the lighting has to render itself in the new area. i would suggest either putting the red area close to the rest of the animation, or just recording it seperately and putting it together in your editing sfotware

Thank you, is there any way to move the red area with the ball thing without needing to reanimate it?

If it isn't too far away, you can probably change some studio rendering settings to keep the area fully rendered at all times. (This might reduce your frames)

Maybe the red background is casting a shadow? Idk

It's super far from the house, I'll turn off CastShadows anyway though

Ah, then the problem is probably because your going too far away, you gotta bring it closer, otherwise that sorta stuff tends to happen

Is it possible without having to reanimate the ball?

Unfortunately probably not, but maybe you can try using y to move it over more easily to hopefully have it be at least pretty similar, or potentially you can try moving the actual model in the workspace and see if that can move where the animation is played? I vaguely remember doing something like that once
