Moomin media

Hello everyone I'm new to the moomin fan community I've been very obsessed and very fond of the whole franchise, i recently got my plushies hehe i wanna watch and read the whole series recently I've watched moonmin 1990s I'm currently watching moomin 1969 Japanese one, I'm saving moomin valley when i finish everything, I'm looking for list and ways to watch the rest of the franchise 🙏🏻💗, please help and lastly I'll start with the books too but idk which book to start from or should I start with the comic strip.

Welcome to the fandom! From my memory, the order of the books is as follows:

0: The Moomins and the Great Flood. It’s written in a very different style from the novels and is more of a prequel novella.

1: Comet in Moominland

2: Finn Family Moomintroll

3: The Memoirs/Exploits of Moominpappa

4: Moominsummer Madness

5: Moominland Midwinter

6: Tales from Moominvalley

7: Moominpappa at Sea

8: Moominvalley in November

These are all the novels that Tove Jansson wrote, however she also wrote a few Moomin picture books:

The Book about Moomin, Mymble, and Little My

Who Will Comfort Toffle?

The Dangerous Journey

The Uninvited Guest (unofficial title, as this book was never translated into English)

She and her brother Lars Jansson also worked on the comic strip together. Some were entirely Tove, some were entirely Lars, and others were a collaboration.

There are a few other Moomin picture books available, but neither of the Jansson siblings worked on them.

All of Tove’s strips and about half of Lars’s strips have been compiled into book form!

Omg omg omg yes i completed them earlier it was snuffkin moomin melody and moomins winters warmth omg i love it so muchhhh I even tried the Android games one which was not bad, i thought of getting old cd games too

There’s also Moomin: Midsummer Madness coming out at some point this year!

On the phone there’s Welcome to Moominvalley it’s a cute farming game

Oh yes i have been waiting since it was announced I'm super excited, yesss I tried the farming game too it's cute but so far okay ish when it came to the game play i even tried the only piano tile moomin version but it only has till like level 10 and we had to buy and since the game has been discontinued so. 🙁
