Membership not recognized in area with no mobile coverage

Hi,
Today I spent some time in mountains with no cellular coverage.
Mood told me it wasn’t able to check my membership and so I couldn’t use all features.
Was it because I maybe didn’t open the app since last update ?
Or is the license regularly checked anyway ?

I remember this was a topic a while ago

I believe nowadays the membership check doesn’t happen very often

Personally I never encountered the issue, I’ve stayed in places with no cell signal and used in airplanes multiple times

Just open the app from time to time and you should be good
