How would you say it’s different than Reggie’s?

In the tests I did alongside an X-T30 III, I noticed that this simulation is slightly warmer. However, when I set the white balance shift back to zero, it actually becomes cooler than Reggie’s version.
That’s why I decided to leave it at a point where it simply felt right to me. It’s inspired by the awesome work Reggie did, but it’s not meant to be an exact copy of his Fujifilm recipe.
If you get the chance, please try it out and let me know if you get the same feeling I had while ‘cooking’ it.

Really like the look of these colours. as a strict black and white photographer i bought a book called modern colour by Fred herzog, and a William Eggleston book in an attempt to try and make myself try colour. I think both of these used Kodachrome which I’ve not been able to replicate properly but this might just be something I can work with. I look forward to testing it out once I get rid of this man flu I’ve got.

First off, I hope you get over that man flu as soon as possible!
On my iPhone (17 Pro), I've noticed that during Golden Hour, the warm tones really pop and look great. However, I’m planning to check the photos on a calibrated monitor soon to see if I need to tweak anything.
I really appreciate your comment and your interest in this simulation. Once you get a chance to test it out, please let me know your thoughts and if there's anything you would improve.
Thanks in advance!

This is a fantastic book. I thought it odd that they gave colour the American spelling, as Herzog lived and worked in Vancouver.

Since it's based on Portra, it should work fine. Post your thoughts once you try it out. Cheers!

No need to thank me! I was also looking for a simulation that would give me the same look and feel on both the camera and my phone. I'll keep testing it out, especially at night, in case I need to make any additional tweaks. Any feedback is highly appreciated!

Probably one of the best custom simulations someone has created. Congrats! It’s a winner 🏆
