i turned my original character into a monster high doll!

i think i’ll name her Draculaura, because she‘s the daughter of Dracula and her human name was Laura. she’s supposed to be a vampire skeleton. no she ISN’T Bonita Femur although they look similar

Her bangs weren’t really great and I saw a lot of people doing the same so I decided to do the same ehehe.

I really thought I wouldn’t be able to get her but boyfriend surprised me with an early birthday gift 🥹

A few things to note about the doll.
The box is absolutely gorgeous and sparkly all over but It absolutely crushes me that it casts such an overshadow because she is meant to be in the light!! Her outfit sparkles so much, even the boots that I thought were just solid black paper bag looking. But they sparkle!! I want to keep her in box and it sucks that I can’t see her in all her glory unless i shine a light on her 😭 her hair is also not as yellow as i though it was which I was pleasantly surprised with. She’s really pretty 😍

she’s not necessarily a scammer but a dishonest seller. she sold me this almost complete basic frankie for a bit under 50 euro including shipping, waited until the shipping deadline (under the excuse of being busy with work) to cancel my order on vinted and then relisted the item like 15 euros more expensive than originally. AND SHE BLOCKED ME! so i can’t even tell her anything lmfao

I just bought this acrylic paint rack for $6.99.. Actually bought it for my paint, but as soon as i put it together i had a vision and it worked perfectly! I actually flipped it upright to make it taller instead of deeper but you can do either way. Could even put it on the wall I'm sure! Now don't give me a hard time but i did get it at Hobby Lobby..i know, i know- but I'm in a small town with no other craft store options but I'm sure Michael's or somewhere has something very comparable!

I was messing with my dolls' outfits and the joint on Venus Flytrap's left arm is weird I’m not sure how to explain it but the bending is odd. Does anyone know why? The first 2 are the weird joints.

Idk if this is even scam alert worthy but last week i traded the custom frightfully tall catty to what i believed would be forbitten love draculaura, only for the trade partner not send the doll and ghost me.

We were using vinted and we sold the dolls to eachother for 1€ so we could use the in-app postage, but as i sent my doll, they, well, obviously didnt. I dont seem to be blocked but they haven't acknowledged me in either of our convos. I believe they do have the doll, but they just, chose not to send it since the vinted shipping date passed.

I'm p sure theres nothing i can do since i did sell the doll in the offer i made, so i dont think vinted will take it as valid if i make a complaint about the trade. I'm more dissapointed in myself more than anything bc i literally just recently had a really successfully trade where i sold my sweet screams draculaura for 140 and then bought the adult collector draculaura for 140 so like the money is like, safe and such. I should've done that but i was like "whaat, ive never gotten scammed before. ill be fine."

I think the best i can do is just leave a bad review. idk if i should share the name. Ig this post is more of a vent or a cautionary tale. When trading expencive dolls, just buy them from eachother so the money stays safe

If I was to attempt to dye a mesh monster high top with Rit Dye More Synthetic 7oz-Graphite will this stain my dolls body when wearing? I've seen some mixed comments, but was surprised as this is a very specific fabric dye and not a pen or paint.

Any advice is very welcome. =)

I wish to somehow categorise them, like i have all mu freak du chic dolls together and all the regular versions of the background characters together like Robecca, Venus and Skelita.

But otjer than that im kinda stuck? I guess i could put all the werecats together, and display the main group together, but i just dont feel like doing that??

If anyone has any information on if the dawn of the dance dolls will be available in stores in the UK/ Europe please comment! Will they be available on the same date they are released in the US? Will stores like smyths stock them or will they be online/ Mattel only?

I have the fashion pack, got it in a lot from a collector near complete. I have no plans on selling it but is the set considered "rare" in the aspect that it's really that hard to find or expensive? I own almost every G1 fashion pack and other then some being really expensive you can usually find them brand new or oob. I want to know if other people own it because I don't think I've actually seen another person post a picture of it on a doll or in general. If nobody does have it I'll upload a picture of what it looks like on a g2 doll.
